[Vic’s POV]

I have Jaime come in and tell me one of the merch girls were here. I go downstairs with him to meet her.

Once I saw her, I felt the world stopped spinning once I saw her. She was the same girl I saw ever since that fall.

Jackie. God, that named sounded so familiar to me.

We stood frozen in time for a while, looking at each other, until Jaime shot me back into reality. Mike and Tony had Jackie supported in their arms, like she almost fainted or something.

“You guys okay?? You look like you’ve see a ghost or something,” Mike said as he helped Jackie sit down.

“Fine, just got a bit lightheaded,” Jackie said.

“Well, Jackie, this is Vic. Vic, this is Jackie,” Jaime repeated, his tone a bit worried.

“Yeah. Its great to meet you,” I said and we shook hands. As our hands touched, an image came into my mind. It showed me with Jackie, kissing at night, rain pouring on us. It then disappeared and I looked into her brown eyes. She looked like she had the same image as I did.

“Right, well, I’m guessing Jackie would want to rest up from her flight,” Mike said.

“Y-yeah. God damn that jetlag,” she said and carefully stood up. Tony went to get her luggage in the front door.

“Come on, I’ll show you the guest room,” Jaime said, steadying her as he helped her upstairs, Tony behind them.

I just sit on the couch, thinking about the image I saw. I couldn’t have been a vision or random dream.

I think it was a memory reel.

[Jackie’s POV]

“You sure you’re okay, Jackie??” Jaime asked as we went up the stairs. I still felt a bit dizzy.

“I’m fine. Just a bit of jetlag. I’ll just take a quick nap and then come downstairs,” I said as we walked down the hall and then to a room at the end of the hall.

“Okay. But if you need anything, just call us,” Tony said as he opened the door for me.

“Ok,” I said as Tony set down my luggage.

“Thanks for making me feel welcome guys,” I said and hug them. They hug me back and they have a smile on their face.

“No problem,” Jaime said and then they leave downstairs and I just close the door.

I lean my back against the door and think a while. When Vic and I shook hands, a vision came into my mind. I was in the rain, kissing Vic, and rain was soaking us. It was nighttime.

I felt like I lived that scene before. Could it have been a piece of lost memory??

How I wish that fall didn’t give me amnesia. I would have remembered what I have to remember. I felt like I had to draw that image, but I felt a bit tired.

I take off my sneakers and crawl under the covers of the bed and just sleep.

[Daniel’s POV]

“The last thing I wanted is for Jacqueline to remember Victor!! We had the chance when the doctor said she had amnesia, but she can regain her memory and go back to him!!” Dad said.

“I still hate that you are lying to her just because of some old rivalry, Jose!! So they went out for a ride!! Not telling her that she was in a horrible accident from a drunken man’s driving, that she was in love is the worst ever!!” my mom shouted.

I wish I wouldn’t keep this secret. I’m not involved. I loved my big sister, and her boyfriend was really cool. After that accident, Vic’s parents and my parents agreed to lie to them both and make sure they don’t see each other since they both had memory loss. They hated that Jackie and Vic snuck away to drive in the rain. I was only 7 years old, but I still remember it all. My dad told me to never tell Jackie a word. They picked me up from my friend Carlos’s house when I was going to sleep over.

I want to tell Jackie, but I’m afraid of what my dad will do if he  found out I did.

Just wish my dad wasn’t a butthead.
