"The countries concerned will now have the opportunity to describe the war from their perspective, if they so wish. You are also allowed to ask questions to the accused and other affected countries. Requests for evidence aimed at or against the accused can also be submitted. If a country has no need for these options, he or she may simply announce their judgment. If any evidence is very grave afterwards, the previously announced judgment can of course be made again.

Finally it was Russia's turn. His fingers were still trembling with tension and anger, and even before Russia's name was fully spoken by NATO, he had already risen exuberantly. One could clearly see how outraged he was.

"As the Russian Federation and the first-born son of the Soviet Socialist Republic, I inherit this very country. All decision-making powers are now entirely up to me." The words literally flew from Russia's lips to the judges. He didn't wait to see if the judges wanted to ask him questions or make other comments, he just started talking.

"As I have already mentioned hours before in my "unauthorized acclamation", I can confirm that, except for a few exceptions, Germany has distanced himself from his father. I have been around after all. We both lived in a house at the border to Poland! I can confirm all of that!"

NATO lifted his head. "About what period of time are we talking about here?"

Russia rubbed his forehead briefly. "That must have been in October 1939 until... until the 22nd June '41."

NATO looked over to EEC and ASEAN.

"Weren't you involved in the Finland war?"

Russia gulped quickly. "Yes..."

"Then we assume that you didn't have contact with the accused for this period of time."

"... That is right."

Russia coughed shortly. "Even if we didn't see each other over that time, I am sure that Germany is telling the truth! After his meetings with his father, he often talked about not being able to understand the actions of the Third Reich! He had argued against the plans so often! If I had known that all of this would be so important someday I would have recorded or documented our spoken words in some way! But none of us knew that the Third Reich had planned against my father and out territories! Germany is telling the truth! And...", Russia stroked over his chest with his hand once, "... and I have proof that Germany wanted to keep me alive and not kill me on that fateful night."

NATO stretched his chin out curiously. "Please, show us the proof."

Russia quickly looked around and then approached the judges desk with fast steps. A restless murmur filled the room. The spectators curiously shifted around in their spots as well and stretched their neck up. They wanted to see what happened there. All of them wanted to see the proof. To the surprise of the judges, Russia started to open the buttons of his dress shirt when he stood close in front of the desk. He presented the scar on his red chest to the judges.

"Do you see? He could have shot me directly in the head or heart! If he had really followed the plan to kill me that night, he could have easily done that! But he didn't! He decided to save me! And that could only happen this way!" he screamed his words angrily. Eagerly, the proof was written down in the protocol. ASEAN bowed over the judges desk to Russia and inspected the old wound meticulously.

"Really looks like an old gunshot wound."

"I also want to make clear that I wasn't wounded at any point in time in whe war. You will find no reports about a stay in the hospital because of an war injury because there are none. I have only gotten this wound in the war... from Germany.
