Chapter Two
EDWARD CULLEN
I was driving my Volvo to Alaska. Everyone had to take a car, so we only had to leave one range rover behind. Even if I was in my car I could still hear everyone's thoughts. Except Bella, for the moment anyway. It was early Saturday morning now, everyone was slowing to a stop when we came by a restaurant. Renesmee and Jacob are probably hungry. I got out of my Volvo, and walked towards Bella's Ferrari. I pulled her into my arms and gave her a kiss. She smiled up at me and whispered into my ear, "I'm thirsty. Do you think could go for a quick hunt?" I nodded and said "Just let me go tell Carlisle." I walked to Carlisle's Mercedes and Carlisle was there. "Bella and I are thirsty, we're going to go hunt. We should be back in about ten to fifteen minutes." Carlisle nodded and I walked back to my love. "Come on Bella," I said taking her hand in mine. We ran out to the woods and stopped when we smelt some grizzly bear. We raced to the two bears and Bella and I neatly lunged for their necks. We drank the blood without spilling a drop. We ran back to the restaurant, we were in some small town in Canada. Lucky for us the cloud layer was thick today. When Nessie and Jacob finished we got in our cars and drove off.
RENESMEE CULLEN
Jake and I are in my mom's Ferrari on our way to Alaska. We just stopped at a restaurant and we're really
close to Alaska. We might even arrive today. We passed an Alaska sign! "Mamma how much farther is Coffman Cove?" I asked excitedly. "About five miles. We should be there in an hour or a half." my mother replied. I was so excited. Not only to be in Alaska, but because my birthday is coming up! My birthday is next Saturday. I'll finally be sixteen! Even though I'm really turning six, I appear as sixteen. This year I stop aging. I can finally go to high school! I was caught in all my thoughts I hadn't realized we turned into a drive way. The house was huge! The driveway was really long, and the house was kind of isolated. Next to the house there was a pink mini house. When the car stopped I got out and ran over to Alice's porsh. "What's that little mini house?" I asked her. "Rose and I will tell you in a few minutes." Alice said. I can't believe Alice, Rose and Esme designed and built this house. Everyone parked their cars in the massive garage and came back out. "Come on!" Alice squealed as she grabbed my hand and started running. Rose was right behind us. "This, is a little hangout for you and your friends!" Alice and Rose chimed at the same time. We walked in and there was a little loft space, it had a big fuzzy purple sofa and at least ten purple bean bag chairs. There was also a little kitchen with a breakfast bar and high stools. Alice dragged me up the stairs and showed me the mini movie theater, the laser tag room, a mini spa, a room with a small swimming pool and a room with a roller rink with shelves filled with skates of all sizes. We went back down stairs and Rose asked, " Well? Do you love it?" "Of course I do!" I said grinning. "It's amazing!" We ran back to the huge mansion and walked in. "Come on I'll show you your room!" Alice said pulling me up three flights of stairs. We walked into a massive room with a big bed with blue sheets and a big blue comforter and huge white fluffy pillows. I smiled as she brought me farther. She opened a door that led to a huge bathroom. It had two showers and a jacuzzi tub. It had triple sinks and lots of cabinets. Then she took me to french doors. She opened them and there was my massive closet. It was bigger than my bedroom and bathroom combined! We walked out of the closet and she brought me to a corner in my room. "A slide!" I said grinning. "Try it out!" Alice said. I sat down and starting flying through the slide. There were lots of twists and turns. Then I flew out and landed on a huge cushion. Everyone must have heard the flop noise I made when I landed because everyone was there in a second. "I'm fine," I assured them. "Come on Aunt Alice!" I said just as Alice flew out the bottom of the slide. "That was really fun." I told Alice and Rose. I smelt hot dogs cooking. I automatically ran to the kitchen. Esme just finished cooking when I walked in. Jake was already sitting down so I sat next to him. "Thanks Esme" I said as she handed me a plate. I ate quickly then said " I'm going to go to bed early. I'm really tired." I heard them say sleep well as I walked upstairs. I walked into my room and lay down in my big bed. I covered up and fell asleep instantly.
