"I needed you " - Chris Brown
I knock on the door with bated breath. I don't know if her mama is going to let me crash with them. It's another mouth to feed. I smile as Samaria opens the door. She has on a tank top and some gym shorts. She frowns when she sees me. "What you doing here K?" She asks. "Can I come in first?" I ask. It's getting kind of cold out here. She nods and let's me in. We sit down on her couch. "Where's Capri and your mom?" I ask her. "Capri is at his friend house and my my mama is at work. Why?" Samaria asks. I take a deep breath. "Because, I need a place to stay. My mother just kicked me out." Samaria gasps. "What happened?" she asks. I don't know if I should tell her about the incident this morning with Cedric. I guess I should. I'm here now. "Well, this morning before Davon picked me up, Cedric was drunk and he tried to rape me. He got on top of me and everything. I tried to tell my mom, but she didn't believe me. She said I was lying and she told me to leave." I confess. "Oh my goodness Karma! Cedric tried to get some?" Samaria asks. I nod sadly. "Then you need to stay here. That boy Bentley is after you and your mama's boyfriend is trying to rape you. It's not safe at your house. You can stay here. I'll tell my mama what's up. Not about you and Cedric, though." Samaria says. "Thank you." I say. Thank God for her.
Samaria pauses for a second and looks me up and down. "One thing you said stuck out. Why are you spending so much time with Davon?" she asks leaning back. I bite my lip. "Because we just cool." I smile. "Yeah right. All of a sudden you and him are best friends? What's really going on?" Mari never fed into bullshit well. I blush. "Well, he was concerned about my eye yesterday, so he made me tell him about Bentley and then he took me to Mcdonald's and bought my food. Then, we went back to his house and we sort of... kissed." I mumble the last part, but Mari heard it anyways. "Oh shit girl! How was it?" Samaria screams, jumping up and down in her seat like a hyper active kid. "It was amazing. He kissed me like he knew me. I feel like I know him anyway. We kissed a few more times after that." I say, happily. Samaria covers her mouth with her hand. "I'm happy for you, but he's a player K. All he does is fuck girls and leave them. Don't get too attached to that nigga." samaria tells me straight up. I know it's only for my own good. "Yeah. You're right. But I can't help but feel safe around him. I guess I'll watch my back." Everyone tells me he's no good for me, but why do I feel differently?
