Chapter 3-meeting parties

J<"I can always teach you,(he looked up at her),to swim I mean"

E<"why"?(she laughed)

J<"cause, when I walked over, you can tell you like the water...it's just the matter of getting past the breakers"

E<"gotcha...(she looked down as they continued to walk on the shore line, drinks in hand),well I guess I'll take you on that offer one day...considering I've got your number now,(she laughed and smiled at him as he winked, they walked further down and slowed themselves when they saw a figure laying in the beach. It was midnight, and the beach house was the opposite way and it seemed they were the only ones walking on the sand),what is that"?

J<"I don't know...you got a flash"?

E<"ah yeah,(she switched hands with her drink and phone and turned her flashlight on as they made their way to the figure),oh my god"!

J<"oh shit,(he ran to the figure and dropped to his knees),Call nine-one-one"!

(Erin's heart beat fast as her fingers fumbled with her speed dial button. She watched as jay reached forward for a pulse and tried to chest compressions, waiting patiently for her phone to connect)

(Seventeen hours earlier:)

(They walked through the doors and waited on line to order their protein shakes before they both hit the gym for a morning workout before they had to go to work)

<"can I help whos next"

E<"hi can I get the strawberry lean machine please"?

<"anything else"?

E<"ah yes,(she turned around),what do you want"?

K<"oh...hi can I have the spinach and pineapple protein shake please"

<"is that all for you two ladies,(he watched them nod),alright, total is fifteen eighteen"

(Erin handed him her debit card and waited patently for the order to go through before going on line and waiting for their drinks)

K<"you didn't have to buy my drink"

E<"I didn't mind,(she walked forward and collected their drinks),thank you,(she uttered to the tender before turning and giving kim her drink),here you go"

K<"thanks, lunch or dinner is on me"

E<"whatever you say"(she smiled walking to the entrance of the place)

K<"I mean it...but right now we have a gym to get to"!

J<"okay, now I want all of you to drop down and give me twenty crunches, into fifteen sit ups"

(He watched as some of his students had a hard time with completing the fifteen sit-ups after the twenty crunches within a minute and ten seconds)

J<"alright so what we are going to do next class, is focus more on the core. You all did amazing, but I did see a struggle completing the workout with the minute left of class that we had, so, we are gonna try and build up that core strength so that next time we can go through the whole course without trouble,okay,(he watched them nod),alright great job today guys...rest up and drink water

(Jay walked to the benches and collected his water bottle, towel and phone before making his way out of the separated room for private training. He turned on his phone as he was about to walk out of the gym but he looked up for some reason and was genially glad)
