The ray of sunlight peeking through the blue curtains woke up Iwaizumi. He looked around, as if confused as to what happened before he fell asleep. The weight on his arm led him back to reality. There he saw Oikawa curled like a ball, wrapping his slender arms around him and was only wearing a sleeveless. His eyes widened, again he scanned his room. Maybe looking for some evidence of what really occurred last night. As he looked down to the brunette, events from last night kept flashing. His face turned red. They kissed. And if he didn't stopped, it could be beyond that. He mentally face-palmed.

Damn it, I almost lost control.

He was about to wake Oikawa up when he heard a knock.

"Hajime, aren't you eating breakfast?" his mom asked. "I cooked pancakes, might as well go down while they're hot."

"J-Just leave them there, Mom," he stammered, fixing himself.

"Are you alright?" his mom pointed out.

"Y-Yeah."

When he heard footsteps walking away from the door, he sighed. He poked Oikawa's cheeks, earning a groan from the latter. Iwaizumi grinned as the brunette opened his right eye and then his left eye.

"Good morning," Iwaizumi beamed.

"I-Iwa-chan?" the brunette asked in confusion. "What are you..." His voice trailed off. It dawned to him that he slept at Iwaizumi's room. His cheeks flushed from embarrassment and he covered his morning face.

Iwaizumi chuckled. "Why are you hiding your pretty face, hmm?"

"Shut up, I'm ugly right now. Can I use your bathroom?" Oikawa panicked, not that it was the first time they slept together. It's just that things were already different. A lot more different.

"You didn't have to ask. We even bathe together when we were kids." Iwaizumi gave out a boyish laugh.

Oikawa groaned in return, still covering his face. "That was before." He ran inside bathroom and locked the door. The ace again laughed at his cuteness.

"Make sure you locked it properly. I might stumble inside," he teased.

"Pervert, Iwa-chan!" Oikawa shouted.

"Lower your voice, shithead," Iwaizumi countered.

Great, Mom might have heard Oikawa's voice right now and we are so doomed.

When both of them were finished fixing themselves, panic rose in the atmosphere. Oikawa, who was obviously wearing Iwaizumi's clothes and even underwear, couldn't hide his nervousness. He was already pacing back and forth, biting his nails. Iwaizumi watched him, amused. He was nervous yet the brunette was really cute that he couldn't stop himself from smiling.

"Hey, relax. I'm sure Mom would understand. You should be more worried about your own Mom," Iwaizumi stated matter of factly, raising his brow.

"I already texted her that I'm sleeping here," Oikawa said as he scanned through his phone. He halted when he saw bunch of texts coming from their friends. "Matsun- the team was looking for us. What should I tell them?"

"Save that for later," Iwaizumi said. "And when did you texted your mom? Surely last night you were pre-occupied by err- you know." He blushed, knowing they had to talk about what happened last night.

"I- I texted her after Maki told us about the party. Luckily, she agreed though I doubt she will easily let this pass, knowing what happened yesterday morning," Oikawa sighed.

Iwaizumi raised his brow. "So you were planning on sleeping here even though we're not okay?"

"Of course! Where would I sleep? At Etsuko's?" Oikawa rolled his eyes.

By the mention of his ex-girlfriend's name, Iwaizumi's grin faded. "No, I won't let you."

"See?" It was Oikawa's turn to raise his brow.

The ace just sighed in relief. "We'd better go downstairs. I'm hungry."

He added, "Remember that Mom loves to tease me so be ready."

And as predicted, Iwaizumi's mom was grinning ear to ear when he saw the two coming down to eat breakfast.

"I knew it! Tooru was in there. No wonder I heard some weird noises last night. I thought my son was just watching adult stuffs but it was actually you, Tooru," she squealed in excitement. "Oh, don't worry. It's fine as long as it's you." She winked then headed towards the kitchen to prepare for their meal,

"You've got the wrong idea!" Iwaizumi protested. His mom was humming a song, rejecting his protest.

He sighed and looked meaningfully at Oikawa. "See?"

The brunette stifled a laugh. How he wish his mom would be the same.

The whole meal was full of interrogation. Iwaizumi's mom was really curious of what happened. Yet, the two just gave her short replies in fear that she might tease them more.

"Make sure you have fun!" she shouted as Iwaizumi and Oikawa went inside the ace's room.

"Sorry, Mom is really pushy most of the time," he apologized.

Oikawa smiled in return. "It's okay. I really love her."

"Glad to know that," Iwaizumi said, smiling. "Now what do we do?"

"Lie down?" the brunette suggested.

Iwaizumi smirked. "Oh I'd love that."

For a second, the brunette stared in confusion. Then he realized what the other boy meant. "It's now what you're thinking!"

"What am I thinking?"

"Nothing!" Oikawa stomped towards the bed and let his body feel the softness of it. It was so relaxing that he forgot all his worries.

Iwaizumi chuckled and lied down beside him. He scooted closer to the brunette, sniffing his scent. "You're acting cute."

And then there's silence. He stared at Oikawa's face, tracing his handsome features by his fingers. He stopped when it touched the brunette's plump lips. He eyed his chocolate orbs, his heartbeat abnormal. He felt like being pulled by an intense energy. He knew that when he let himself kiss Oikawa, there was no turning back. He caressed the latter's cheek, his hand weightless, like the brunette was some sort of fragile and precious treasure.

"I love you," he whispered.

The brunette closed his eyes, nodding. "I love you even more."

"When all of this is over, when we're done talking to your parents, I wanna go to a trip. Just the two of us. When all of this is over, I wanna run away with you. Anywhere would be fine as long as it's far from here. Promise me you won't give up. Even if your parents won't approve.. even if everyone is against us. Promise me you won't let go, hmm?" Iwaizumi uttered, rubbing circles on the brunette's back. Of course, he still feared what awaited them in the future.

Oikawa opened his eyes meeting a pair of olive green orbs. "I want my parents to accept me as I am. I don't care about other people, just my parents would be enough. I will try my best to make them understand. And if they still won't..." he sighed. "you still have me. I assure you, Iwa-chan."

Iwaizumi smiled, a genuine one. He pressed his lips against Oikawa's. "Okay, I trust you."
