"Thank you so much for your time today," Kuroo bowed thanks to the team. He nudged Iwaizumi by his elbow. It seemed like his friend was deep in his thoughts.

Iwaizumi immediately came back to his senses and also bowed his head, not following what they were chatting about.

He was lost in his own thoughts. How come Oikawa greeted him like they never happened? How come he still flashed his signature smile to him? What had happened for the past four years?

How could you move on so easily?

He shut his eyes closed but was again nudged by Kuroo. He had been bowing for a long time that everyone was staring at him, including Oikawa who tried to suppress his smile.

"O-oh, sorry," Iwaizumi apologized, scratching his head.

A tall gray head laughed. "All is fine! By the way, you seem familiar to me," he said and flashed a grin.

Iwaizumi took note of his green cat-like eyes but it did not ring a bell.

"Uh- have we met before?" He wasn't so sure but he tried not to sound rude.

"Oh! Now I remember," the guy said as he clapped his hands like a child. He tilted his head to look at the person beside him.

"Oikawa-san, isn't he the one on your phone's--"

The guy had no chance to continue because Oikawa hurriedly covered his mouth.

"On my phone's searched items!" he interrupted. He gave everyone a shy look. "Is what he meant..."

The tall guy gave him a knowing look before swatting his hand away. "Right, right. He searched for your company before going here. Oikawa-san is really curious." He laughed and patted Oikawa's shoulder.

"Y-yeah. The first one that came up was Iwa-ch--- Iwaizumi's photo. Turns out he's really famous," Oikawa explained.

Iwaizumi, huh?

Iwaizumi arched his brow at Oikawa. The latter gulped.

He was interrupted as the tall guy stretched his other hand to him. "I'm Lev, by the way."

Iwaizumi hesitated but still accepted Lev's hand and shook it.

"Y-yeah, nice to meet you uh- Lev," he said.

Someone coughed beside him. He looked at Kuroo who was smirking.

"Lev, you're not greeting your former captain?"

"Oh shut up, Kuroo-san. We talked earlier," Lev answered, rolling his eyes.

Iwaizumi creased his forehead in which Kuroo noticed.

"Apparently, we were teammates during high school," Kuroo explained.

"Wow, what a small world," the manager commented.

All of them laughed.

Iwaizumi slumped his body against his bed. Today was surprising and tiring. He was exhausted.

He heaved a sigh.

Kuroo entered his room with a mug of hot chocolate in his hand.
"Want some?" he asked.

Iwaizumi pushed himself up so that he was sitting.

"Yeah, thanks."

"You okay?" Kuroo looked concerned.

"What do you think?"

Kuroo sighed and sat beside Iwaizumi.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
