NEW FACE
Staring blankly at the mirror as I wiped my hands off after washing dishes. I positioned myself at the sink and turned the metal knob, washed my face and hands. Then I screwed my gaze in the scratch mirror, hanging on the wall.
I saw the reflection of my parents, throwing flowery words of each other, laughing, smiling, embracing touch that shows they love each other. Their eyes twinkling whenever their eyes stared at each other with so much passion and love.
I sighed loudly as I walked towards them.
“I'm done,” I said bitterly but they seemed to hear nothing and it seemed like I was just wind passing through them.
“Mom, dad... I said I'm done!” I repeated.
“Oh! I'm sorry honey!” My mom chuckled and went near me.
“Come on, darling,” My dad trailed off.
They went up to their room together and Dad put his arm around Mommy, ignoring me.
I can't help but to get jealous at them. Parang hangin lang ako sa bahay na ito. They are also always busy at work and they no longer take good care of me, tapos uuwi ako ng bahay galing sa eskwela na parang walang ibang tao sa bahay na'to. So annoying!
I followed them and went into my own room to rest.
When I got to my room, it was still early so I took my cellphone for a moment to go online on facebook. I also checked my TikTok account but nothing has changed just like before, so I turned it off and went to sleep because my family and I were going somewhere tomorrow.
"Honey, wake up!"
I was startled when I heard someone whisper softly in my ear. I thought it was daddy but I was wrong.
I smiled then greeted her good morning and my mom did the same.
We are here now in the park but I look like a fool here just staring at the two of them who are busy pouring ice cream and street foods.
Hindi ba nila pansin na kasama ako? Mukha akong tanga dito mag-isa. Napansin ko namang napatingin sa may gawi ko si daddy.
I approached daddy when I noticed he was looking at me earlier.
"Cybelle, we are perfect with each other, right?" Daddy said.
My eyebrows furrowed for a moment because of what he said.
“Yeah!” I trailed off, still managed not to be sarcastic.
“Cybelle, are you okay?” My mom asked with so much concern. I just shook my head. I abruptly swerved my gaze at them.
“Problem?” My brows quirks up.
“Nothing,” I uttered in flat tone.
“Okay then!” she just shrugged and giggled.
My father's eyes met mine. We exchanged glances as if he insuinating something and he turned his gaze back to my mother.

Today is my day. But as usual, nothing has changed. It's my birthday but nothing special happened.
But I'll make it special for you mom and dad! It's very special day.
Agad akong bumangon at hinanda ang sarili. My kinuha akong isang bagay mula sa ilalim ng aking kama at itinago sa likod. Mahigpit ang hawak ko dito. My whole system invaded of vegeance and jealousy.
I caught my mom staring to her favorite food, adobo. I am watching her back and I noticed that she had a shapely curves.
I stood behind her as I raised my right hand to attacked but before that, I stepped closer without any sound as I whispered on back of her ears.
“Happy birthday to me. Naalala mo man lang ba ang kaarawan ko?” wika ko saka ngumisi.
Ramdam ko ang bilis ng tibok ng puso at ang panginginig niya pero bago pa siya makapanlaban ay itinarak ko na ang hawak kong kutsilyo at pinagsasaksak siya.
"I know it's a sin but I am happy with what is happening now." I whispered to myself. After I did, I took mommy to an empty room outside the house.
Pinagpag ko ang aking mga kamay at nag-ayos ng sarili, after that, I went to my room to test what I had experimented with in the past few days.
This experiment is called “Nuevo Cara” which is made of magical potion or 'elixir' that could changed your assorted appearance or what you want to look like by just taking his/her blood.
I stared at a piece of syringe and whispered laughing like a demon. Hindi na ako nagsayang ng oras kaya mabilis ko itong itinurok sa aking sarili at namataan ko ang unti-unting pagbabago ng aking anyo.
A few minutes later I noticed that I was gradually becoming mommy so I immediately went to the office where daddy was busy with his paper works.
"Darling, I offer you a cup of coffee. Inumin mo muna kasi alam kong pagod ka," wika ko saka marahang lumapit sa kaniya at pasimpleng minasahe ang kaniyang may balikat.
“Are you tired?”
I asked out of the blue while I currently massaging his massive arms. He then nodded and kissed me on my lips.
“Don't worry darling... All thing was very crystal effin' clear,” I muttered.
"Finally, I also got what I wanted. Thanks to my brain and I did an unexpected experiment that was beneficial."
“Now, we can love each other peacefully...” I said with finality. I laughed sinfully on the back of my head.
