Kirishima leaned forward, "No d-don't! I'm fine now."

"FINE? FINE!? That doesn't look FINE to me," Bakugo pointed to the bin.

Kirishima felt weak, and barely mustered up the energy to wave his fear away, "I already know what's wrong with me." Bakugo raised his eyebrows, as if asking Kirishima to elaborate. "Hanahaki disease. I'm going to keep coughing up flowers until it kills me. B-but don't worry it doesn't have to kill me, there are cures. It's caused by unrequited love. I can either tell the person my feelings and hope they feel the same, or get surgery to remove the flower roots."

Bakugo looked at Kirishima as if he was the dumbest person in the world, "Then why the hell have you let it get this bad?! Just tell the person you fancy that you're into them you idiot. A little crush isn't worth your life."

Kirishima closed his eyes, "It's not just caused from a little crush, Katsuki. The disease is formed from unrequited love. That's why it's so hard."

Bakugo stood up, "Even then, keeping a secret like that isn't worth your life. I have my own secrets but if it was either that or my life, I'd confess in a heartbeat. Who is it? Come on, I'll even come with you."

"NO! I mean- I'll go on my own, tomorrow. I promise" said Kirishima. He figured this could give him enough time to scope out whether Bakugo felt the same. And if he even liked men at all. He felt an incredible sense of nervousness tingle in this hands and stomach. This was going to be rough on the mind.

Bakugo looked at him, and after concluding that Kirishima was telling the truth, he nodded. He stood up and walked over to the living room; Kirishima followed close behind. Bakugo sat on the couch and turned on the TV to fill the room with a white noise, and Kirishima leaned against the arm of the couch, contemplating whether or not he should confess or simply get the surgery. But, he didn't want to lose the feelings he had, even if they were causing him this grief.

Kirishima tested his fate, "Hey 'suki, do you like anyone? You've been single forever, and I don't remember you talking about any girls you liked before either."

Bakugo's expression remained unfazed, but his speech was quicker than usual, "Don't think about it much."

The red head knew he was lying. They'd known each other since high school, and Kirishima always noticed when Bakugo lied - he definitely had someone on his mind. It did dim Kirishima;s hopes of getting his feelings returned, but something in his heart urged him to continue digging, "Ahh, I see how it is", he walked in front of Bakugo, blocking his view of the TV and forcing their eyes to meet. "Lying are we? I bet you think about them often. I bet you can concentrate because they're on your mind. I can't believe this, THE Bakugo Katsuki has had his heart stolen. Oh how I wish to have a fairy tale such as this."

"Shut UP, SHITTY-HAIR. You're literally in the same predicament you moron, you just happen to be coughing up some stupid petals", said Bakugo dismissively. He clicked his tongue and turned his head to look out the window, his arms folded across his chest.

Kirishima grinned, "So I was right! There IS someone."

Bakugo looked back up at Kirishima, who was towering over him as he stood there, picking through all of Bakugo's lies, "It's some girl on another hero team. Now leave me alone and sort out your own lovers dilemma" said Bakugo. His speech was quick, but Kirishima assumed it was because of embarrassment.

A girl, in another team. A girl. Kirishima felt his heart sink. So there was someone, and it wasn't him. He would have to get the surgery after all. It was either that or, death...

Kirishima sat down on the floor in front of Bakugo, "What's she like?"

Bakugo thought for a moment, smiling as he searched his mind, "She's nice. Very pretty, but you can tell her confidence wavers sometimes. She's very kind, she's the kind of person to put her life on the line for anyone. It's intriguing, because I couldn't even imagine myself doing something like that until I met her. She won't just throw her life away like it's nothing either, she's incredibly smart. But, I don't think she see's that. She probably believes her quirk is her everything, but there's definitely more to her. I hope she sees that too, one day."

This mystery girl seemed perfect. The way he described her, she seemed like the perfect balance to Bakugo's impulsive and destructive personality. "What''s her name?"

Bakugo shook his head, "No."

Kirishima leaned forward and gave Bakugo a gentle pinch on the thigh, "Come on man! You can't tell me how amazing you think she is and then keep her name a secret!"

Bakugo stuck up his nose in defiance, "No way."

Kirishima smiled and started poking Bakugo on the leg, "COME ONNNN, tell me. It's not very manly of you to be ashamed of those you like, you know." Kirishima could see the annoyance start to build up in Bakugo. One more push should do it, "I can't believe you're not strong enough to show your love for her to others. What a shame. I didn't expect this from the soon-to-be number 1 hero."

He ended his statement with a gentle punch to the side of Bakugo's leg. This earned him the wrath of Bakugo's short temper, and he felt himself being forced backwards, his shoulders pinned to the floor by something strong. The strong man pinning him down finally broke his secrecy, "You know what? I take it back, you aren't kind. You're annoying as hell."

"Huh?" No thoughts were coming through to Kirishima. This cliche position made his ears and nose burn, and all he could think about was how close Bakugo was.

Bakugo spoke again, "Does your quirk make your skull thick too? YOU'RE the girl idiot"

"I'm- what?"

Bakugo rolled his eyes. It would probably be easier to show this bumbling idiot what he meant, since words clearly weren't coming through. He rested his weight onto his elbow, placed carefully beside Kirishima's head. He put his face close, feeling the heat from Kirishima's deep blush. The expression told Bakugo all he needed to know. He knew who Kirishima's unrequited love was from. He let their lips touch, gently, before quickly pulling away to study Kirishima's reaction. The red head was completely flustered, and Bakugo knew they both felt the same.

Kirishima felt electrified. This was the last thing he expected from Bakugo, but it was more perfect than he ever could have imagined. His electric feeling quickly faded out, and was replaced with dread. He felt his lungs tighten, and then release, as if a contraction had occurred. He knew it was the flowers again, and he almost felt like bursting into tears. Did Bakugo kiss him for fun? Was there no love behind it? Why were the flowers coming back? They were supposed to stop.
