A Spacebattleship's Rebirth

Chapter 11

Graff Zeppelin had a few scout planes in the air and smiles at her targets. "Well, well, well, Eugen, Hipper what kind of weapon are you testing?"

"Radioactive Bombs why?" Hipper asks.

"From what I could see is that there are young destroyers down there and by the direction they're heading is to a nearby Base of Ops." Zeppelin explained.

"And what does that have to do with our weapon testing?" Eugen asks the Ironblood Carrier.

"I'm saying is that if these poor Destroyers survive my attacks, the Base they're heading to might be destroyed." Zeppelin replied to Eugen's question.

"Very well lets just go to cloud cover and attack the enemy and report to Kommandant Dessler about the weapon's success or failure." Hipper said as the other two agreed with her.

Fast forward:

Graff sees the new drill like weapon hit some of the Destroyers and was shocked. "Kommandant Dessler's new weapons are all duds!"

Elsewhere:

Both Eugen and Hipper launched their bombs at a nearby enemy base and moved to a safe distance to avoid the radiation.

"Looks like these weapons are going to make us top of the food chain once we've defeat the Sirens." Eugen said with a smirk.

"I agree with you Eugen and I've recently sent back a report about the Radioactive Bombs' test." Hipper replies as they take a look at the damaged port one final time before leaving.

Back with Graff Zeppelin:

She was close to launching another wave of Aircraft when she got hit by an Aichi M6A Seiran!

"What the!" She yells out as she looks around for an Aircraft Carrier only to find none! "Must've been from the Base both Eugen and Hipper bombed."

Underwater, a Subgirl smiled. "Our fleet may appear weak to you Ironblood due to our rebuilding, but we're still strong enough to put up a fight!" Lifting her periscope, she left the bridge and heads to the Destroyers she rescued in her hangar.

"Thanks for rescuing us 401." One said before finally losing consciousness due to the damage.

I-401 sighed. "Get some rest and hopefully we could find an undamaged Base for you to get repairs."

Yamato:

"We're almost near the Sakura Homeland and I've had Ayanami send out a message that she's with not only friendlies but two of the Big Seven." Kodai explains to the two two Recovering Shipgirls.

"When we get to port, we will mobilize our ships to a defensive stand against the Ironblood and we'll communicate with Azur Lane in hopefully providing a two front war they cannot escape from." Nagato explains her plans as Sheffield slowly helped her get up.

"Well then we'll be ready for what's coming." Kodai said as he then went to check on the other Destroyers.

Ironblood HQ:

Kommandant Dessler smiled at the report that was brought in. "Looks like the timer should be shorter after impact cause according to Graff, she thought it was a dud until she heard an explosion."

"That's good to hear Kommandant and what about Hipper's report?" Bismark asked.

"Her report on the Radioactive Bombs mentioned a success as it left nothing within  the vicinity of 5 km, just a scatter of small craters caused by the explosions." Dessler explains before he left to go Weapons Development.
