The orange blob woke up with the sun shining on his face. Both boys stayed up all night, reading and learning stuff. The raven was generous enough to let him borrow his notes from class.
But the sun wasn't the only one who woke him up. He felt something heavy on his stomach. He looked down and saw a black mop of hair. A human. Sleeping on his stomach.
He smiled at what he saw. He finally has someone to talk to. Someone to open up to. He was always lonely here at the hospital anyways. Sure someone talks to him, but that's occasional.
He needed someone to be there for him always.
His thoughts were interrupted as he coughed up petals. This time it wasn't pure white anymore, it was filled with little red dots. He was surprised to see its new color. Despite that, he still think it looked pretty.
He felt something shift on his stomach and suddenly was staring at a pair of dark blue eyes.
"Oh good morning. I'm sorry I woke you up." He greeted the still dazed boy. His hair was ruffled and he had a bit of drool trailing down his mouth.
He chuckled at the boy. "You should've gone home yesterday. Your back must hurt now."
"Oh shoot. I better get home. Mom must've been worried." The raven stood up, packing up his things, when suddenly he paused. "Oh wait, you wanna come by? We can hang out." He asked. He doesn't want the boy to feel lonely, especially with his condition.
His eyes lit up. "Really? Is that okay with your mom?"
"Of course it is."

It took them a while to get out of the hospital. Especially with both of them nagging the nurses and doctors for Hinata to get out.
"I need some fresh air for a while. Please!" With a few doggy eyes and pleads later, they were finally walking down the streets, leading to the raven's home.
"We're here." He announced and opened the gate through his house.
"Woah, your house is pretty Tobio!" He beamed at the taller boy. He wasn't really familiar with this kind of things. He's always locked up in the hospital anyways.
"Are you sure its okay for me to come in?" He still was unsure.
"After all those pleads, you're gonna back out now?" He arched his brows at the older boy, when he didn't answer, he added, "Guess not."
"I'm home mom!" He shouted through the house. He widened his eyes before realizing something.
"What's wrong?" Hinata asked as he noticed the boy stood frozen.
The raven didn't answer.
Instead he broke down.
"K-kageyama? What's wrong?" The orange boy asked worriedly. He crouched down beside the boy and patted his back. Only then he realized that he was crying.
"E-eh? Why are you crying? What's wrong? Are you okay?" The orange blob was close to panicking as he did not know why the boy was a mess.
"M-mom's dead."
