"Hey Shoyou! Let's go somewhere!" A few days after the bathroom incident, the orange blob was sent back to the hospital soon after. Today, the raven visited him yet again, a smile plastered on his face.
But his smile faded when he saw the boy's expression.
"What's wrong?" He quickly approached to him and held his hand. He squeezed it tighter when they met eye contact.
He also noticed that he became much paler than the last time, and has extreme bed hair.
He looked sick.
"Tobio, remember the colors of the petals when I vomited in your bathroom?" He asked with glossy eyes, his breath wavering.
"Y-yeah..what about it?" He asked, but somehow, he doesn't want it to be answered.
"Those were the petals of a rose. It meant that my time is now limited before the petals start filling up my throat, and suffocate." He finally broke down after he said the last word.
The raven continued to stare at him, the fact that someone else was leaving him again, he couldn't handle it. He hadn't realize it until now, when he felt a thumb caressing his cheek.
"Wipe your tears. Darling, you don't look good while crying." The orange blob still managed to smile despite the news. The raven was kneeling down beside the bedside, tears still streaming down his cheeks.
He stood up and leaned in on the boy, connecting their lips together. The taste of tears and salt mixing in. The kiss was bittersweet, but the orange boy returned it.
When they pulled away, the raven connected their foreheads.
"Stay right here."
"I'll stay here with you my dear."

"Woah Tobio! Look! There's leaves falling! And it's the same shade as my hair!" The small boy exclaimed while pointing out the window.
They were currently just chilling at the hospital room. Kageyama assisted Hinata at all costs. Recently, he started to cough more rose petals. He knew that the condition was worse.
"Kageyama! Let's go inside!" The boy was jumping up and down repeatedly, elated to see the falling leaves.
"Calm your butt down idiot. We'll go." He sighed.
~
"Hey Kageyama! Do you know why I love autumn so much?" The boy asked him eagerly. Wanting to show off his answer.
The raven sighed, "Why?"
"Because it resembles a new start." The boy answered much calmly, but still with a smile on his face.
"Oh? How so?" The raven's full attention was now on the orange blob.
"Because, when the leaves fall down, you just always know that there's always something new when spring comes. It's like starting all over again."
So that when I'm gone, you can always start again.
The raven stared at him, quite shocked by his answer. It had a deep meaning in it. And he somehow understood it.
"You know, there's still so many things I want to do. But I can't even leave the building now." He sighed followed by a laugh.
"At lease you got me." The small boy glanced up at him, and rested his head on his chest.
"Hey Shoyou, you know why you're the petal and I'm the butterfly?" The raven asked him. He also wanted to do the same thing he did earlier.
"Why?" He perked up at him.
"I'll tell you tomorrow idiot." He stuck his tongue out at him. Teasing the small boy, that was the least of things he could do to cheer him up.
"You're no fair Kageyama!" The boy pouted at him and he leaned down to peck his lips.
You're no fair either Shoyou.
