The raven woke up the next morning, he was feeling fresh and happy for some reason.
"Hey Shoyou! You know why you're the petal and I'm the butterfly?" The raven beamed at him. But there was something off about the boy. He seemed paler than usual, and his lips are chapped and colorless.
He grabbed his hand and tried to check his pulse, feeling nothing.
He widened his eyes.
"Doctor!"

He dragged his body out of bed. Feeling unmotivated to move for the day. But decided to eat something in order to keep breathing.
The sky was dark and lifeless, just like he is now. He sighed for the umpteenth time that day.
"The petals multiplied in his throat while sleeping, leading him to suffocate."
He remembered what the doctor had said to him that day. He clenched his hand and sighed again.
He decided to go somewhere for the day.
~
He didn't bring any flowers. Since that's the cause as to why he was gone. He was always lonely and alone before he met him. He didn't even know why he grew attached to the boy easily. Probably because they had one thing in common.
They have each other.
"Hey Shoyou. Uhm, so it's spring now. But you probably don't wanna see it. Because there's a lot of flowers." He chuckled bitterly. "Anyways, school's coming great. My teacher was yelling at me all the time. I wasn't really paying attention to her." He went on about the past few days. He needed someone to talk to.
"Shoyou, I want you alive, but why are you gone? What happened to 'I am still alive because you want me to be?'" He smiled down. Tears now streaming down his cheeks.
"I know that you're an angel. But it's not your time to fly." He sang a part of the song.
"Oh I almost forgot! It's just sad that I didn't have the chance to tell you this."
He smiled and sighed before continuing, talking to the stone engraved with the boy's name on it.
"You know why you're the petal and I'm the butterfly? Because butterflies love petals."
End.
