The raven calmed down a bit as Hinata handed him a glass of water. They sat down in the kitchen quietly, sniffles from the black haired boy can be heard.
"How long has she been gone?" Hinata asked him, almost like a whisper, hoping he wouldn't break down again.
"J-just a month ago. She caught into an accident." Sniffled the raven.
"O-oh..." the boy did not know what to say, so he just sat there, quietly.
"Mom's always been so busy with her job. She almost doesn't even have time for her son." He sniffled bitterly with an emotionless laugh. He continued, "But I didn't hate her for that. I always understand. It's for my future anyways. But one terrible day, I was quite looking forward for her to go home. But sadly, the world did not want that. I heard that the plane crashed a while later at the news." He stopped when he noticed a few tears stained his lap.
He was quite surprised when he felt a hug. His head in the orange boy's chest. His hands on his head, pulling him gently.
"I'm not good at words." Hinata laughed softly, trying to lighten his mood a bit.
He heard a chuckle and felt arms snaking around his waist. The raven sniffed a whiff of his scent.
He smelt like hospital.
"You're pretty gay, Kageyama-kun." He laughed at his own sentence. The raven looked up at him, resting his chin on his chest.
"I wouldn't mind dating a boy like you."
His words made the orange blob heated up. His cheeks red. You can practically see steam coming out of his ears.
The raven laughed at this, and rested his head on his chest.

"Eek!" The orange blob jumped when he saw a scary face on the laptop screen. He unconsciously hugged the tall boy beside him, burying his face on his chest.
"Sometimes I wonder who's the gay one between us." He asked him, arching his brows. "I'm starting to think maybe you're pulling moves on me."
"I am n—" before he could finish his sentence, he suddenly coughed up petals. He felt the boy pat his back down gently.
When he stopped, he rest his head on the taller boy's shoulders.
He felt his lips on his head, kissing him gently. This caused a slight blush on his cheeks, thankful that it was dark and the boy couldn't see it.
"I can feel you're blushing idiot." He heard the raven whisper, causing him to blush even more.
"Hey Hinata," the orange blob looked up at him through the darkness, his dark blue eyes shining. "You'll never leave my side right?"
He felt something flutter inside his stomach at the questions. He looked away from him.
"I don't know Kageyama. The doctors said that there's no cure for this disease. Once it's there, it'll always be there." He hated to break the news to him, but it's better than keeping his hopes high when he suddenly leaves.
"Is it fatal?" Kageyama asked once again, hoping that it wasn't.
"No, but, it's so insufferable, you almost want to commit suicide yourself." The boy looked down, close to tears.
He removed his head from his shoulder and wrapped his arms around him.
"Wipe your tears. Because I'm right here. Darling, I'm right here. Close your pretty eyes. Baby, have no fear." He heard the raven sang softly. He knew that song. That was the song he always listens to on the radio. It reminded him of something or someone, that will always be there for him.
"I'll see you in your dreams, Shoyou." That was the last words he heard before drifting to sleep in his arms.
