Part 1//Back to Hogwarts

"Are you sure you have everything?" My father asks me right before I step on to the train. "Yes dad" I say as I step back off the platform to give him another hug goodbye "I'm going to miss you so much (y/n)." he says to me "I'll miss you more" I say back as I see a tear roll down his check."Last call for Hogwarts" a man yells in the distance."I'll be back before you know it" I say with a smile. He smiles back right I step back onto the train. Goodbyes are always the hardest, you would think I would be used to it after doing it for the 5th time

I walk down the isle of the train looking for a compartment that's not full until I feel a hand grab my arm from behind my and pull me into a compartment, it's Malfoy. "What do you want Malfoy?" I say in an annoyed tone. I noticed is that he's sitting with his pathetic little minions Crabbe and Goyle, right before he responds by saying "No need to get sassy (y/n)!"He says with a smirk as Crab and Goyle chuckle. I'm even more annoyed at this point so I ask "Can I leave now? The train is about to start moving." "I just wanted to remind you not to fall in love with me this year."

His grinning turns into laughter and Crabbe and Goyle joined in. I storm off angrily and continue walking down the isle as I noticed Harry, Ron and Hermione all sitting together in one of the compartments. "Can I join you?" I ask with a smile. "(y/n)! You're here!" Hermione says before standing up to give me a hug. "I've missed you guys." I say while she let's go of me and as I sit down next to Harry and across form Ron and Hermione.

"How was your summer (y/n)?" Harry asks. My parents divorced when I was 5 so I only see my dad during the summer but I don't mind I usually spend most of my time at Hogwarts during the rest of the year . "It was amazing! Besides his new girlfriend..." I said. "Wait he got another one!?" Ron says very surprised, Hermione shoves him in the shoulder and tells him to shut up. "It's fine Hermione, he's just curious." I say in a reassuring tone. She nods right before giving Ron a dirty look. "I love spending time with him but I don't like coming home to a new girlfriend every summer, apparently she's a keeper but he's said that about the last 4" They all chuckle and before we know it we've arrived at Hogwarts.

We enter the great hall and it's just as magical s the first I walked through those doors, the memories of the sorting hat yelling " Gryffindor!" play through my mind. I follow behind Hermione to our table and take a seat next to her. We start to talk a little bit more with Ron and Harry until we hear Dumbledore yell "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts!". He probably says something important but it's mostly for the first year so we just continue talking. "Blah Blah Blah" Ron starts to mimic Dumbledore and almost the whole table starts to giggling. We continue giggling until some Professor Snape giving us the death stare. I stop immediately and lean over towards Hermione and ask "Why does he hate me so much?"she reply's with "he hate everyone (y/n) your not any different then the rest of us" Ron leans over and whispers "I don't know about that Hermione he sure is nice to Malfoy and the rest of Slytherin." Hermione hated being out smarted so she just said "that's only because that was his house. Slytherin probably think Professor McGonagall is nicer to us then them because she was in Gryffindor" Ron looked annoyed but we all just sat in silence

After what feels like forever, Dumbledore finished talking and all the first years are sorted into there houses. We're finally allowed to start eating witch is perfect because I'm starving, we all start to dig into our feast stuffing our faces with the most amazing food.We barley talk because we're to busy stuffing our faces when Harry leans over to Hermione and I "It seems like Slytherin barely got any new comers this year." Harry says."Maybe they're all normal" I chimed in. He laughs but I can see Malfoy from the other table give us a dirty look, I know he heard us but it's so unlike him not to say anything back, I decide to just brush it off and continue eating.

Once we all finish our meals we make our way the Griffindoor common room.

"How are you feeling about this new school year so far?" Asked Hermione "As long as I don't do anything I did last year I'll be fine." I say. "What did you do last year?" Harry asked looking rather confused. Harry must had been so caught up with the Wizarding Tournament last year that he missed most of the drama with me. I start telling the story staring by asking " You know that Pansy girl from Slitherin right." Harry nodes and I continue "Last year she made me go into the Forbidden Forest and I got into a lot of trouble. All the teachers hated me, I lost 100 house points, no one asked me to a Winter Ball and she didn't get in any trouble." I say in a depressed tone right before Harry says in a very upset tone "Wait are you serious? Man I hate Slitherin!"

I try and reassure him that it's fine but he continues " That makes me so upset, (y/n) I had no idea no one asked you to the ball." He seemed really concerned and I found that really sweet "it's ok Harry I didn't want to go anyways." I say with a smile but he can see right through me, he knows lying when I say I'm okay.
