Chapter 3: First Day in the University

Kazuto Kirigaya's POV

I walk at the hallway as I look around, to see where my room is, and as soon as I can't find it, I took a lot of courage to talk to the students around here, on where I can find my room

But as they pointed the direction I still couldn't find it...I sighed, exaggerated...and I closed my eyes, then I took a deep breath. As soon as I'm about to exhale, someone from behind me patted my left shoulder, I startled and I looked behind me, and saw...

"Oh, it's just you...hey Asuna..." I greeted, and calming myself down, "Sorry, did I startle you?" she asked me, and smiled at me nervously

"No, i-it's fine" I told her, even though I'm a bit lost..."It seems that you're lost, huh?" Asuna asked me, am I really that easy to read?

"N-No! I was just roaming around..." I said, making her giggle. "Kazuto, it's okay to ask...so, what's your class?" Asuna asked me politely

"Um...here" I handed her the paper, where my classroom is written. "Hmm...oh! We're in the same class, at this first period!" Asuna says happily

"R-Really?" I scratched the back of my head

"Yeah! Come on, you've got 3 minutes left!" She says, as she grabbed my right hand, pulling me, "Wo-hey!"

And we arrived at our room, I didn't expect my roommate to be my classmate in the first period. "So, let's go in" Asuna said, smiling at me. "Uh, yeah..." I answered

Asuna slid the door open, and saw our room. People started looking at us, and I can see my hand, still clasped into her hand, but Asuna didn't notice this until I said so, "Uhm, Asuna?"

"What's up?" She looked at me curiously

I pointed at our hands, that are clasped together. Her face started to turn red, as she realized why our classmates looked at us weirdly

"I-uh, s-sorry" she let go of my hand, and apologized, while her face is beet red. "Don't worry about it, and uh...thanks for helping me" I thanked her

"Oh! N-No, don't mention it!" She gestured her hands right to left

Then we both started walking, and it looks like she already has a seat, while I don't...

"Hey Kazuto?" someone called me, I turned my gaze on to someone that called me, and it's Asuna. "What?" I asked her

"You can sit here with me" Asuna offered. She's kind enough to offer me to sit beside her, but the people around us are murmuring about this

"Yow, he's so lucky to have a seat with Asuna"

"Yeah, no kiddin'!"

"Sitting with Asuna is my dream!"

I sighed and accepted her offer "Sure, thank you Asuna..." I sit beside her (to her right), and put my bag down. I can also hear the girls murmuring, and squealing about something

"Isn't that Kazuto Kirigaya?"

"You're kidding! The most handsome guy that won the Technological Advancement Competition!"

"Oh my gosh! It is him! He's more handsome in person!"

"Plus he's with the famous girl"

"Not to mention his looks, but he's also a genius!"

"Well looks like, someone's famous" I tilted my head to the my left, and saw Asuna smirking. "I don't know about that" I denied her statement

"Well, suit yourself..."
