Chapter 1: Freshman

Kazuto Kirigaya's POV

"Onii-chan! Get out there now, or you'll be late on your new school!" I heard my little sister, or should I say, my cousin, shouting in front of my door to my room

"Ugh...ok, I'm awake..." I answered in a lazy tone, and got up from my bed, in fact I'm just bored at school...there's no fun in all this, I just got a scholarship in that school, because of how genius I am. Well, that's what they say...at least in terms of technology that is

"Come on, it's a university! You should be proud of yourself onii-chan!" Sugu told me

"Yeah yeah, alright..." I answered, like I don't care. I'm now going to a university, second year in senior high...Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, huh...

I went ahead and take a shower, put my uniform on, packed my stuffs into my luggage, then I went ahead downstairs to see aunt Midori and Sugu, waiting for me with the food

"Good morning, Kazuto!" Aunt Midori greeted happily. "Good morning" I replied

Then I went ahead and sat on the dining table, thanked for our food, then we ate our sandwich. "So Kazuto?" said Aunt Midori. "Hm?" I answered as I swallow my food.

"Are you ready for TUAT?" she asked me with a smile, I can tell she's happy, because I got a scholarship

"Uh...a little bit, yeah" I answered, almost as if I don't care about the university. "Ugh! Onii-chan, why aren't you happy?!" Sugu asked me, well I can tell she's annoyed, because my reaction isn't as good as they are

"It's not that Sugu-!" I was cut by aunt Midori "Now, now...I'm sure Kazuto, is happy to have a scholarship, and I know it's for his future. After all, he is in to technologies" she said happily

I sighed in relief, because of aunt Midori's save

Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology is a one hour drive away from here, so if my predictions are right, I shouldn't be late for about 30 minutes or so...

We finished breakfast, then I brushed our teeth. After that, Suguha and I picked our shoes, to head out now

"See ya later mom!" Suguha waved goodbye, and so did I "See ya in a week, or so...". And yeah, I will live my own...in a dorm, that is. Hopefully my roommate is not as bad as I thought...

On the train

"Well this is my stop, enjoy at your new school onii-chan! Or should I say, University..." Sugu said and smirked teasingly at me

"Stop it Sugu! I may be a freshman, but I can take care of myself" I said annoyingly. "I know, I know...but anyway, good luck onii-chan! Get a girlfriend would ya?" She said and winked at me as she head out to the train

"Sugu!" I am annoyed, I mean...'girlfriend'? Pfft! Like I care about having a girlfriend again, and I am waaaaay too focused on technologies...

And because of my shout at Sugu, everyone near me on the train looked at me. I blushed, because of embarrassment

At Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology

"Heh...? This is it? Hmm..." I looked at my watch, and hey look at that I'm 32 minutes early. I went inside TUAT, and saw the students talking to each other. They're not a freshman like me, so...

"Hi!" I looked behind me, and it's a girl that greeted me

"Uh, Hello..." I greeted her as well, and I think I recognized her voice. "Oh! You must be the one that called me yesterday, about my dorm? And to show me around the school?"
