Chapter 9: True Feelings

Asuna Yuuki's POV

"Shino-non!" I called Shino-non, while running to catch up with her, then she stopped running...I panted, and regained my composure "Shino-non, that's not what you think it is"

Shino-non clenched her fists, and said "'Not what I think'?! It was very clear, Asuna! I saw it with my own eyes, not to mention our friends! In addition to that, you lied to us!! You said Kazuto's going to his parents! And...and...now, he's with you?! Hugging with each other?! Don't tell me that I'm wrong!" she's full of anger, and I can feel that she hates me now. I reached for her hand, but she quickly put her hands away "Shino-non...", she's crying...I made her cry...am I...am I too bossy that Kirito's only mine? "I...I wasn't lying that Ki-Kazuto's going to his parents, I was surprised too. He told me that he won't go...because they visited him in the hospital, after the incident" I explained with a sad look on my face

"Shino-non...please believe me" I begged, but she's not answering to me

"Why would I...?" Shino-non trembled clenching her fists, and added "I can't believe I became your friend..." I was taken aback when she said that, it hurt me..."W-What...? Shino-non" tears started forming in my eyes

Shino-non added even more to say "You're so selfish, Asuna...you don't even know I had a crush on Chris that time...but you and Chris became together, so I had no choice but to accept it. Then I saw his true colors, so I'm very thankful that I didn't force myself to him...but when Kazuto came, he rescued me. The only boy who saved me...he's so kind to the people around him, he's so selfless. What about you?! Huh?! Did you give me any worth as a friend?! I gave you everything I wanted!!" I gasped, on what she told me...what she feels

Flashback

"Oh my gosh...Chris Sugino is soooo hot!" I told my friends

"He's pretty smart as well! Not to mention that he is also wealthy like you, Asuna" Rika said, and I squealed fangirling. "Shino-non?" I saw my other friend with a sad look on her face, so I called her name

"What's wrong?" I asked. "Oh! Nothing, Asuna...don't worry about it. Yeah, Chris is very hot" she answered with a smile

"I know right?" Rika replied and added "He and Asuna are soooo perfect as a couple!"

"Really...?" I blushed, and Rika answered "Of course! Your parents will gladly accept him" maybe...my parents are always strict, but when it comes to a wealthy man, they're okay with it. "Yeah, Asuna! You two are so cute together" Shino-non told me, and I smiled "Awww, thanks girls...I'm really glad that I have friends like you"

Shino Asada's POV

I just smiled for her, and I don't wanna let her know that I also like Chris...and what kind of a friend am I to Asuna, if I steal her dream guy...I looked down to the ground, and I always feel alone. When I'm with my friends, we all get along...and I don't wanna ruin it just because of my affection to Chris

Months later

"You are so selfish!" I heard a shout, as I walk down the hallway, I went ahead and checked to see who it is, and what the heck is going on. As I peaked to the edge of the wall, I saw Asuna and Chris, are they arguing?

"Asu, come on! That wasn't what it looks like" Chris is trying to defend himself, for what? "Not what it looks like? Really?" Asuna crossed her arms and added "Then explain to me why you're kissing Luna so passionately, like it was such a big deal!"

"Asu, are you for real?! That was just a kiss, we didn't do anything yet!"

"Oh wow! 'Yet', so there was going to be more! If I hadn't showed myself up, then there would've been more...huh!" Asuna's really mad right now. "That was...I wasn't really going further, she just kissed me off guard, Asu!" Chris defends himself, but those words are undeniably lies
