3 years earlier

"The best project presentation goes to..." I heard our teacher talking to us on the microphone, and I can see my classmates praying to win "Kazuto Kirigaya!" he announced as he fold the paper back, everyone
in the room clapped, and congratulated me

I went to the front, and got my reward, it's a gold medal, I've had mixed feelings about this, it's as if I'm glad that I won, but at the same time, I felt bad for my classmates, because I always win...so I asked for his permission for me to make speak, and he agreed. So I took the microphone from my teacher and said "I may have won, but that doesn't mean you've all lost. You all worked hard, you all did your very best efforts, and with that...we're all champions! Congratulations to us all!" I said and raised the medal I got, and they all cheered and clapped

After class

"Yow! Congrats bruh!" my friends congratulated me. "Thanks guys" I bro fisted them, then girls started approaching us, or me?

"Uhm...congrats Kazuto!" a girl said, and they all congratulated me, then they asked me to take a picture, and I agreed. I can't just turn them down, just because of a picture. After that they squealed fangirling, which made me look curiously, I mean...it is just a picture, so there's no big deal 'bout it

"Thanks Kazuto!" they all thanked me, and bowed...but one girl didn't leave, and my friends recognized her, and murmured about her

"Ey, that's Alexis Yamada!"

"Yo! She's so pretty!"

"Dang! She's so hot!" I elbowed him

It is her...my long time crush, I was so in love with her, at first sight...and seeing her here? Walking close to me? She has a long hazel colored hair, and a brownish eyes, and I ain't lying...she is damn beautiful! "Um, hi Kazuto" Alexis greeted me shyly

I was just so starstruck to see her beauty, and I didn't realize I was staring too much, jaw dropped, and almost about to drool. "Eh?! Lucky you Kazuto! Answer her!" my friends slapped my back, and I was too close to Alexis, she blushed, and I also did. Our face are very close to each other, I turned around to face my friends and scolded them "Hey! Why'd you guys do that?!"

"Oh, wow! Look at the time, we gotta go! Bye! Handle that situation man!" and they all left me with her

I turned to face Alexis again "Sorry about that, they're a bunch of jerks, but they are nice" I apologized, and explained. "Oh, it's fine...um, I just wanted to give this to you..." she handed me a heart shaped figure, and when I opened it, it's full of chocolates along with a letter. "Um, you could've opened it later..." she said, and she blushed...she's too cute, so I insulted her by reading the letter in front of her

"Dear Kazuto, I'm sorry if I'm too weird to give you this, but-"

"H-Hey! D-Don't read it here!" Alexis is reaching for the letter she gave me, but I raised my arm, for her to not reach it, so I continued reading it

"I just wanna let you know that, I've had a huge crush on you ever since you've showed us your true talent, and I can't confess my feelings to you personally, so I just had to make a letter, and a little present. In advance I know you'll win the presentation at your class, so congrats! XOXO, Alexis" I finished reading the letter she gave me, and I was shocked to read this...she has a crush on me? A beautiful girl like her? No way...she must be blind, my crush? Having a crush on me? Please...that never happened to anyone, at least...that's what I know
