Sang's POV
We leave Dr. Sean at the hospital and make our way to the car and on to the house.
"Kota is at home but he has something to do early in the morning so please let him get some sleep." he says cheekily as we pull into our driveway.
I hop out of the car and run up the front steps. I know he'll make himself scarce for a while. I send him a silent thank you.
I walk through the front door and into the kitchen. I'm pregnant so ya I'm hungry. I look at the clock on the microwave its nearly dinner time so I open the fridge to see what to make for dinner while grabbing a mozzarella stick for a snack.
Crescent rolls. Pepperonis. Three packs of mozzarella sticks. Pizza rolls it is!
I set the oven to preheat while I prep the rolls. I think we have some marina sauce, that either North or Luke made, frozen that would make a good dipping sauce, so I dig that out and set it in a pot to defrost. I finish that and begin rolling the crescents in to pizza rolls and just finish when the oven dings that its ready. Three pans in the oven I set the timer, stir the sauce one more time before walk out of the kitchen to find my kindle. I find it in the living room and bring it in to the kitchen.
While my current read loads I stir the sauce to make sure its all melting, it is so I sit down and read my book for the next thirty minutes.
Four chapters later the timer goes off. I pull the pan out and transfer most of them to a huge platter and the rest on a plate with a built in bowl that's filled with the sauce, for Kota and I. The platter and the pot go in to an oven set on warm. I have to make sure my boys are feed.
I think about it for a minute and then sit down to write a note for them.
Hey all,
Shhh!
Dinner is in the oven. Make sure you leave some for your brothers. You have a boys night but without Kota, in the den.Love you all
Sang
P.S. keep it down and see you in the morning.
I grab the plate I prepared for us and set off to find him.
Of course he is in the office typing away on the computer. Always working! i knock on the door jam to het his attention. His focus isn't on me when he looks up but the numbers running through his head. Always thinking of business and how it affects the family.
"Kota dinner," he blinks his eyes and they finally focus on me. "Hi 52, dinner," I say holding out the plate for him to see.
His hunter green eyes brighten whether from the food or seeing me I'm not sure, maybe it's both.
I move to place the plate and the water bottles on the conference table. Kota being the gentleman that he is pulls out a chair for me and pushes it before taking his own seat.
I dig in quickly finishing a third one before looking up and finding Kota staring at me in shock. I'm hungry but I can't explain why I'm so hungry, yet. So I just smile at him. Kota shakes his head and goes back to eating without asking question, Thank goodness.
Kota's POV
Sang is actually eating, I'm not complaining its just not normal for her to eat so much but maybe there are some girl issues going on.
