A male in a velvet black suit, rushes through the crowd of people and stops short to catch his breath. It was about 100 degrees outside, which isn't great for the brown haired male as he was sweating like crazy.
He crouches down to his knees and checks his watch, "Shit! I'm gonna be late!"
He stands straight up and continues to run through the waves of people who were trying to get to work. It was the busy part of the city and it didn't help that it was rush hour.
After 10 minutes of running, heavy breathing, and sweating, he finally makes it to the building he was supposed to be in. He slowly walks up to the lady behind the counter and takes a deep breath before speaking, "Hello, I'm Ju Haknyeon, I'm here for a job interview with Mr. Lee."
"Ah, yes. Please wait right there and I'll call you up when he's ready."
Haknyeon nods and walks to the chair that was placed next to the door. The wall was only windows and he could see the people continuing to rush through the crowd.
He didn't know how long he waited, (to him it felt like a century) but he was finally called in for his interview.
He was nervous the more he walked closer to the room. The sound he could hear were the clicking noises of the woman's heels. The male took multiple deep breaths and tried to calm himself down by saying words of encouragement.
The woman turns to the door on her right and knocks before turning the knob. She peeks her head in and says, "Mr. Ju is ready to see you."
The brown haired male faintly heard the man say, "Bring him in."
The woman turns to the man and moves to the side. Haknyeon smiles at the woman to thank her and enters the room.
In front of him was a male who had a stone cold expression on his face. His hair was light brown and combed over to the side. His eyes pierced through the brown haired's soul as soon as he looked up.
"Ju Haknyeon?"
The other male nods and the man in front of him signals him to sit.
"I'm Lee Sangyeon, don't be nervous and relax, I won't go hard on you." The other male smiles and Haknyeon immediately felt at ease.
"Anyways, why are you interested in working here at our lovely corporation?" Sangyeon asked. He was holding his hands together and hunched forward with sudden interest and curiosity.
"Well, I've been noticing all of these great achievements your company has been doing and I most certainly want to be apart of the business community, so I decided to join your company as I heard it was a great place for beginners."
Sangyeon nods and his expression shows that he enjoyed the answer. He examines the resume that was placed in front of him and reads the first thing he sees.
"You have two kids?" The older asked, a little shocked as the male in front of him seemed young.
"Ah, yes. I'm actually looking for a job to support our family."
"Oh do you have a wife?"
"No..."
"Husband?"
Haknyeon pauses before saying, "It's...complicated..."
Sangyeon studies the younger and saw him shift in the his seat. He was clearly uncomfortable and decides not to push the younger further.
"Alright, let's continue on..."
Haknyeon nods but his mind was somewhere else, "We're husbands aren't we? So why did I say it's complicated?"
Another voice could be heard in Haknyeon's head, "Are you serious Hak? There's a reason why it's complicated.
Kim Sunwoo is the worst husband possible..."
