It's been about 1 week since I've met Nick, we've texted everyday and FaceTimed every other night. We have also met up with one another multiple times. Each time we go on a "date" (I'm saying "date" because I don't know what to call this) we get closer and closer to kissing one another, sometimes we get interrupted and other times I chicken out. I want to kiss him it's just that my stomach is always doing backflips whenever I come close. We are seeing each other again tomorrow for dinner. Today is the day I get a car. But not just any car. My dad took a road trip for the past week through the US to bring me my car. It is a 2006 dark blue BMW roadster, I'm not a car person but that thing is my baby. He will come to my dorm and we will see each other for dinner, but then he's going to a hotel for the night and catching an early flight in the morning back to Canada. He would stay longer but he can't take anymore days off work. Oh! I just got a text from my dad saying he is here!
Your POV
There it is! My convertible is sitting in a parking space outside my dorm, the top is down and my dad is sitting inside. "Hey y/n! I've missed you!" My dad says as he gets out of the car to come in for a hug. We catch up in my dorm as I give him a small tour, then we head to dinner using my car. He lets me drive since he has been driving for the past week. I love driving stick, which is what my car is.
Time skip
We finished dinner and I have said my goodbyes to my dad at his hotel. When I get back to my dorm I text Nick.
You: "hey Nick :)"
Nick: "hello :)))"
You: "I got my car so if you want I can pick you up and drive you home tomorrow"
Nick: "ah I'm happy for you, I know how much you've missed it. And that would be perfect thank you"
By the time we finish talking it's late so I decide to go to bed. I put on my pjs, wash my face and do the rest of my nighttime routine. I hope in bed and fall asleep within seconds.
