Story:
Lance and Matt used to be together, they just didn't tell anyone. So when Lance saw Pidge he already knew they were Katie. Matt talked about his sibling a lot and how much they meant to him, so Lance knew how to leave a good impression on them.
No one but Lance knew how much it hurt when Lance saw Matt flirting with the princess.
Lance was extremely hurt that Matt didn't remember him, so Lance avoided Matt as much as he could.

Lance was crying in his room because he saw Matt and Allura kiss, it was on accident but they both blushed, hurting Lance a lot.
"We don't love anymore..What was all of it for...Oh, we don't love anymore, like we used to do.." Lance cried.
Shiro just so happened to have heard that and asked the team about it.
None of them knew about it so Shiro just kept an eye on Lance.
After a few weeks, Shiro noticed the pained look that Lance's eyes held when he saw Matt flirting with Allura.
"I'm gonna get some early rest again tonight..sorry guys." Lance said, already walking out the door.
Keith sighed.
"Alright..that's it." The team looked at Keith.
"We're spying on him." Keith finished saying, Hunk Pidge and him already heading to Lance's room.
When the entire team(including Matt) got there, they heard Lance's crying and mumbling.
Allura was about too knock when Hunk stopped her.
"I just heard you found the one you've been looking..You've been looking for..I wish I would've known that wasn't me.." Lance paused, sighing to himself.
Lance got frustrated and started to raise his voice.
"Cause even after all this time I still wonder...why I can't move on!" Lance's crying got harder. "Just the way you did so easily.."
"Don't wanna know..what kind of dress she's wearing tonight..if you're holding onto her so tight.." The team just figured that Lance was jealous of Matt since he was with Allura now, but they were proven wrong after lance said, "The way he did to me before.."
"..." Pidge was speechless.
So was the rest of the team.
"I overdosed..should've know your love was a game!" Lance shouted, making the team flinch.
"NOW I CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY BRAIN!" Lance yelled through his cries.
"Oh it's such a shame...That we don't talk anymore..we don't talk anymore..Like we used to do..We don't love anymore.." the team, Matt included, froze. "What was all of it for..Oh, we don't talk anymore..like we used to do.." Lance broke down sobbing.
"Why is it so hard to get over him?.. He doesn't even remember me..or our first kiss..our first date..our first..everything..he doesn't remember me..So why can't I move on.." Lance cried.
Pidge walked in, the team and Matt hiding from view.
Lance flinched and hurriedly wiped his tears
