Okay, I've seriously never done that. This is the first time. Okay, anyways on to

You ran into the building that Angelica had told you to go to and practically skidded to halt when a guy stepped in front of you.

"Excuse me, my lady, you cannot come any farther. I am sorry," he said, holding his hand out in front of him.

"Please, let me through. My courter is in there. His name is Philip Hamilton. His mothers sister, Angelica, alerted me that he was shot in a duel between George Eacker. Please, let me through. I must see him," you pleaded, tears threatening to leave your eyes. You watched as realization, then confusion dawned on his face.

"Do you happen to be Miss Y/N L/N?"

"Yes I am. If I may ask, sir, how do you know my name?" you asked, your brow creased.

"Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton told me to let you in if you arrived," you sighed and gently pushed past him, before turning back towards him.

"Thank you," you said, before briskly walking into the room. You gasped as you saw Eliza and Alexander leaning over Phillip who was laying on a table, his face scrunch up in pain.

"Philip!" you ran over, Eliza and Alexander moving to give you room.

"Y/N," he responded, weakly reaching out to you. You grabbed his hand and placed a gentle yet firm kiss on his shaking hand. "I'm so sorry for forgetting what you taught me."

"My love," you said, fighting back tears.

"We played piano,"

"We taught you piano," you said, glancing at Elize, who smiled sadly at you.

"You would put your hands on mine."

"You changed the melody every time," he reached up and put his hand on your face. You grasped it, knowing it might the last time you ever do.

"I would always change the line," he responded, gasping in pain.

"Sh, I know, I know,"

"I would always change the line," you grasped his hand tighter, scared that if you let go you would start crying.

"Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf," you watched as Elize went on the other side of Phillip and clutched his as if it were her life line.

"Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit neuf," Phillip repeated. You could see his eyes fading slightly, the life draining from him.

"Good. Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf," the tears fell from your eyes, as you watched the rest of his life leave him.

"Un, deux, trois..." his voice trailed off as his heart stopped beating, and the life left his eyes.

"Sept, huit, neuf," said Eliza, not wanting to believe that her son was gone. "Sept, huit..." Eliza trailed off and let out a heart wrenching scream. You let out a strangled sob, and buried your head in his neck, smelling his familiar scent. You looked up at his face, and brushed the loose strands of hair from in front of his eyes.

"I love you, Phillip Hamilton." You placed a soft kiss on his cold lips. Pulling away you let out another strangled sob and looked up at Eliza. You walked over to her and pulled her into a tight embrace. Your tears wetted each others shoulders, though you did not care. You pulled away and wrapped you arm around her shoulders, and, pulling her into your side, laid your head on her shoulder, her resting her head on yours. You led her out of the room, both of you still crying softly.

"He was a brave soul," you started softly. "He will forever be remembered."

"Thank you," said Eliza.

"If I may ask, for what?" you asked, glancing curiously at her.

"You brought so much joy into his life. Me and Alexander will forever be thankful for that," she said turning towards you.

You grasped her hands softly, "Isn't that what friends are for?" you asked softly.

Eliza shook her head causing you to look at you at her. "You aren't my friend, Y/N. You are my daughter. Even if you didn't marry my son, you are still my daughter, no matter what." You looked at her through teary eyes, and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you. You are like the mother I never had," you said, pulling away. She chuckled and wrapped her arm around your shoulders.

You got married five years after his death but never truly got over Philip. You and Eliza stayed great friends and were there for during thick and thin. You were buried near Philip and were able to reunite with him again.
