I'm so useless. You're so pathetic Lesley Vance.

Lesley walked without a destination. She was staring blankly in front of her.

She didn't know how long it had been since their planned to save Harley and attacked Dr. Leo's laboratory.

She wasn't aware of her surroundings. She didn't know where the SABER squad brought her after that night but she was sure she was in their headquarters.

That tightening in her chest was still there. What happened in that tragic night was still clear to her.

They failed to save Harley and the others.

They even lost Gusion.

Lesley felt her breathing stopped for a second because of pain with the thought of Gusion. She was blaming herself for being useless.

Their plan was to save Harley and others then they would go back to the Moniyan Empire castle– complete.

But with what happened, it was impossible and could only happened in her dreams.

He told me he would come back to me.

"H-he... told me... he would c-come back..." Lesley muttered as she noticed that her vision was already clouded because of her tears.

Why... "Why!" Lesley shouted as she knelt on the ground. Her knees gave up.

She was crying nonstop, feeling helpless.

I didn't even get to say those three words to him.

Lesley cried out loud, she was sobbing nonstop. If only the pain she was feeling would be erased by crying, but it wasn't enough.

She reached for her gun holster and got her pistol there.

Her hands were shaking. She wanted the pain to stop.

And the only way to stop the pain is to kill myself. I'm so useless.

She brought the gun to her temple and was about to pull the trigger when someone flicked away the gun from her gun.

With blurry vision, she looked up to who did that.

She didn't know who he was, "Who are you? Why did you do that?"

"Killing yourself won't solve anything, Miss Lesley Vance." The man said.

Lesley frowned, "Who are you? How did you know me?"

The man offered his hand with a lopsided grin, "I'm Dr. Rooney and I am here to help you, Miss Vance."

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm not joking though. I really planned on making this as an open ending.

What happened to Gusion? What happened to Harley? How did Dr. Rooney knew about Lesley? Why did Dr. Rooney offer Lesley a help? What will happen next?
