Monkey See, Monkey Do

      A/N HEY GUYS, Before this chapter even starts....IM SO SURRY, I've been doing school, and, and outings, and I lost my tablet, now I found it, it's just, SOOO MUCH STUFF #Everywritersexcuse XD

      *Sky's POV*

"Gametime"

    A loud gunshot fired into the air, as everyone took off running.

  "Hurry!" Ty ran ahead of me and grabbed my wrist as he did. Luckily he yanked me out of the way just in time to miss a crowd of stampeding people.

     Mixed with Ty's speed we dashed in front of groups of people, and made it to the first obstacle.

  "Ty! where are we-going!?"

    My question was quickly answered as Ty stopped in front of a large metal structures, with bars going every which way.

   Monkey bars?

   Oh jeez.

    Under the long set of monkey bars was a sand pit. The famous "Quicksand" I've heard soo much about. Might as well call it slow sand though. Basically, it doesn't kill you, but if you fall in, there's no way you were getting out before the end of the games.

    "Just-follow my lead" Ty let go off my wrist and stepped up to the bars. Immediately I saw him lunge forward and start rapidly swinging across the bars. One by one he flew by like a pro, his hair in a messy flurry on his face. I watched as he landed on the end platform in a perfect stance.

    "Now you try!" He yelled across at me.

  O-0 "ARE YOU CRAZY! I CAN'T DO THAT!" I started panicking in my head. How in the world was I going to get across that now?! I can do like, 10 before failing! This looks like it has close to 50!

   "Come on Adam! Just come over to me!"

    Ok..ok..get yourself together...you..can do this adam, just go to Ty, everything, will be fine.

   I squeezed my eyes to regain my confidence, then opened them once more. I walked up to the platform and saw the unmoving sand below me. With a quick thought, I just, jumped.

     I swung my left hand towards the first bar, swinging through the air, grabbing hold of the cold metal bar. I quickly swung my right hand to meet my left, securing my position on the bar. I hung there, terrified of what to do next. I looked up at Ty and saw a smile of confidence on his face. Right. I struggled to put hand before hand one bar after the next, before I knew it I was swinging across the bar even faster than Ty! in fact, maybe a little to fast- my hands seems to be stuck in overdrive,  and if I stopped now I would fall into the pit

    "Wow Adam! your a pro! You might wanna-woah slow down!" Ty was waving his arms on the finish platform, but I couldn't stop.

  "AAAH!"

          As soon as the monkey bars ended, my arms flew of the bars taking my body with it. I had blacked out for a couple seconds before I opened my eyes, to feel something soft under my body. I looked up and found myself looking straight into Ty's eyes, and laying on his body.  He stared at me for awhile, a look of surprise and confusion on his face. I could start to feel his heart rate speeding up through his chest.

   I jumped off of him and fell back onto the ground,  "I-Im really sorry! I just couldn't stop a-and my arms were like woosh, and I didn't know what was going on-"

    He put his hand up to stop me from talking. Slowly, he git up and brushed himself off, smiling as he stood, "Its okay, really." He held out his hand to help me up.

  "uh...? What do ya say say we just...go to the next one?" He looked away awkwardly and shoved his hands in his pocket.

    I nudged his arm and he stumbled a bit

  "Hey now, what was that?" He took his hands out of his pocket and made a shoving gesture with his hands.

   "Ohhh nothin, i was just thinking i could make it to the next course before you." I started grinning uncontrollably, putting ty to the test.

"Is that a challenge?" He got into a running stance and turned to smile at me.

  I got into my stance as well " On three buddy, one tw-" I started sprinting as fast as i could.

  "Hacks!! No fair Adam!" He started scrambling after me.

   "All is fair in love and war ty!" I started skipping along now.

  "L-love?! where do you get these things adam!"

       I started running again as he caught up, smiling from ear to ear.

 "Hey, answer me!" Ty yelled out, he bumped into my as i came to a sudden stop.

   I turned to look at him, "Looks like I beat you."
