Hailey's POV:

I was literally sprinting down the campus to get to class when I realised I had only 5 minutes to get to class. I shouldn't have drunk that beer last night. Now the last night's beverages are threatening to escape my mouth while my head is throbbing.
"Shit" I mutter and quicken my pace before I suddenly crash against a hard surface. Once I realise who it is, my cheeks turn a hot pink shade and I try hiding by pulling my hoodie close to my face.
"Sorry" I say bashfully and hear a light chuckle coming from the 'hard surface'.
"It's okay. Next time try looking around you" he winked at me and my heart skipped a beat. It was the guy everyone talked about and at the same time no one talked about. Almost every time I would see him around, everyone would start whispering.
Truth is, he's never talked to anyone or talked much. Some people wondered what he sounded like.
He was mysterious and always alone. He was tall, with dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. He had the perfect jawline and a muscled body. Almost every girl in uni  had a crush on him, but he never showed any interest in them whatsoever.
I didn't have a crush on him or that's what I kept telling myself but truly, I couldn't help but notice how good looking he actually was. Yet it was futile to try any move on him considering the fate of any other girl who tried the same thing.
I watched him as he walked to class. He had a hoodie on as it was drizzling and kept his hands on his jean's pockets. Man was he hot. I almost slapped myself to come back to reality just to realize the morning lecture is almost over.
"Damnit" I curse.

Dylan's POV:

Just another day at university. Nothing interesting. Considering how much I've fucked my life up, there's really nothing interesting to it. I walk down the campus to get to class. I pull on my hoodie and feel something crash against my chest. I look down to see a shorter girl with long dark wavy hair. Her eyes are a light green to blue and her cheeks are a good shade of red. It felt good sometimes to see the effect I have on girls.
"Sorry" she said shyly and I couldn't help but smile. She was nothing like any other girl I'd met before. Any other girl would be all over me now but she is all shy and trying to hide behind her hoodie in attempts to cover her embarrassment. She was cute.
"It's okay. Next time try looking around you." I advise her and she smiled as I walked away. She was a beautiful girl.
I walk out of campus and head home. I have an apartment of my own in town. I used to live there with my mum before she passed away. Now I gotta pay for the apartment myself.
I cross the road quickly and head towards an isolated alley. Although there's no one there I can feel someone's presence.
I hear footsteps now. I quickly turn around but no one's there. Someone's following me.
I walk steadily and check if anyone's there from the corners of my eyes. My pace gets slower as I wait for a small sign of the person's presence.
Suddenly I hear a crack sound and in an instant, I've grabbed the person by the collar and hit him hard against the brick wall of a building.
"I must say O'Brien, I'm impressed." An amused voice that I know all too well says and I instantly recognise the man within my grasp.
"Rich" I growl and he laughs amused by my clear hatred towards him.
"Long time no see Dylan. How's your mother?" He asked like an old friend that I hadn't seen for years but he was far from that.
"What do you want?" I say running out of patience and ball my fists.
"Now, you shouldn't be rude to your old friend" he teased and I could barely hold myself from punching him.
"Anyway, you see as a good friend that I'd been to you over these years, you know, the years I'd been helping you with your mother's condition?" He said, a phrase I know all too well and if anything, it is never for good.
"I would like to ask you my friend, to return the favour" he says and offers me a kind smile which makes me want to punch him even more.
"I just did your dirty work Rich. You and I, both got what we wanted. Why can't you leave me alone after all these years?" I growl and he chuckles softly.
"Oh no my dear Dylan, I'm afraid you've misunderstood how drug dealing works." He scoffed and took a step closer to me.
"Once you're in, you never get out." He said in a more serious tone, his eyes locked on mine and I can tell he is starting to get fed up.
"So, long story short, I need £50,000. You have a month. If I don't get the money by the end of this month, I will make sure you end up in jail." He threatened and my eyes widen.
The bastard.
He starts walking away but stops halfway. "Oh and Dylan?" He calls and I look at him, anger boiling inside me.
"Trust me you don't want to end up in jail. A handsome teenage boy like you has a lot of years coming for him to spend them behind bars." He winks and I feel my fist crashing against the brick wall, shattering small bits of it.
"Motherfucker" I mutter as I look at my bleeding fist yet feel no pain.
