I don't like it here.

I want to go home. I want to go back to the forest.

Shida sat at the foot of the couch, arms securely wrapped around his legs as he blankly stared toward the kitchen. The voices of Grey and Milly carried, frustration underlying with urgency in their voices.

It sent his nerves stringing up tighter and tighter until it felt like they were about to snap-

Then a familiar scent enveloped Shida as Ina leaned in close, bundling Shida up into his arms.

"Don't be sad. Just a little longer. Just until it gets warm. Are you hungry? Want me to get some hot food?"

Shida shook his head, keeping his fists tucked tightly in his armpits. It's been almost a week since they first came here and the longing to go home only grew until Shida's tummy was queasy with it.

Ina made a noise in his throat, clutching Shida tighter. His other hand picked and tugged at the over-sized clothes on his body.

Shida knew Ina was itching to tear them off but after Grey and Milly's constant admonishing and

Shida's pleading, he waited until they were in bed to strip.

The kitchen door swung open and Ina and Shida looked up, as with a red face Grey stomped over, three baskets full of ripe, juicy Blue Grass in his arms.

"Grey!" Milly shouted, coming up behind him. Her hands fluttered like little birds trying to escape. Shida couldn't help eyeing them with caution.

"No, Milly, we are done. No more talking." Grey eyed the boys who watched them trepidation.

"Get up and put on extra layers. We are going to town."

Shida immediately shrunk down while Ina shouted in glee, pumping his fist.

"Come on Shida!" Ina crowed, tugging on the other's lifeless arm.

Shida reluctantly got up, letting Ina drag into the bedroom.

"Grey!" Milly tried to lower her voice but it just came out strangled. "They will notice-"

"We are out of food, Milly." Grey lowered his voice.

Shida tried to hear the rest but they were too far away.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Ina ran around the room, pulling out both Milly's and Grey's two extra pairs of clothes.

Shida clutched his stomach. He didn't want to put these on. He knew it would make the couple upset.

"A town, Shida, a town! They said there's tons of people there and shiny things! Remember when we found that metal teeth thing? I almost stepped in it but you pushed me and it was shiny like the snow? It's like that stuff but way more!"

Shida nodded and let Ina start pulling clothes over his body.

"What was the town again?" Ina asked Shida, checking one more time that Shida was covered before putting on his own two clothes.

"Craleah," Shida answered.

Ina nodded rapidly, "Right right right. Craleah..." Ina sighed. "It even sounds cool. Do you think they have a town named Ina? Or Shida?"

Shida shrugged.

"We should travel there!" Ina squealed, before grabbing Shida's hand and pulling them back out to the living room.
