Chapter 2

It pains her...
Hearing the laughter inside the house...
She envy him...
Chaeyoung's jealous for the fact that Mina's happy with someone else....

Her chest is aching because of the pain she's feeling...
She wants to runaway but she can't let her friends down... The girls are waiting for her...

Chaeyoung heaves a deep sigh before turning the doorknob and silently walk inside.
Her head is down, as she removes her shoes and wear slippers before making her way to the living room, where the voices are coming from.

"Finally! Chaeyoung you're here" Nayeon exclaimed

"We've been waiting for you" Jihyo

Her friends are happy to see her, they're waiting for her so that they can eat dinner together.

How painful it is for Chaeyoung to see them- sitting in front of her. Smiling, laughing, whispering at each other...

This should be a supper, but for Chaeyoung it's 'Suffer'. She busy herself with her food but everyone in the table are throwing jokes at each other.

"Chaeyoung" Bambam called the cub, which made her lift her head to see the latter "It's good to see you, the first time I went here- you left... Then you weren't here whenever I visit Mina"

Chaeyoung don't want to be rude, so she gave a weak smile and nod "Yeah... It's actually the timing... You always came whenever I'm busy"

"Yeah, good thing you're not busy tonight" Bambam utter, still smiling at her "I heard so many things about you"

Chaeyoung was surprised "You do?"

Bambam nodded "Yeah, Mina told me so many things about you"

"You know what? The two of them are really close" Jihyo butts in

Bambam smiled at Jihyo "That's why I want to meet her... You know, if you really want to get someone's heart, you should be close with their friends"

"I'm seeing- you have a strategy there" Sana joked

Bambam laugh "It's a good start" he held Mina's hand that is on the table "You guys will be invited on our wedding"

Chaeyoung's body automatically stops after hearing that. It's as if there's an additional pain- hitting her inside... She witness the guy held Mina's hand and it hurts her, but mentioning wedding is another bullet that hit her.

"Isn't it too early for that?" Nayeon

"The reason I court her is because I want to marry her someday" Bambam replied "And I'm sure we'll be there"

Chaeyoung was looking at them but turn down her head and focused on her plate, so that no one can see how hurt she is.

"Chaeyoung- ah, you're so silent" Dahyun noticed the cub

Chaeyoung looks at her unnie "Ohw... I'm just really tired... I had a long day" She excused- which her friends believed

"I'll wash the dishes for you, so that you can rest" Jihyo said

"We told you to don't overwork yourself" Momo

"It's really fine, It's my chore to do the dishes tonight" Chaeyoung

"Naaah! Just rest" Sana

Chaeyoung knows that she can't argue with them anymore, so she just nod and let them. She lose her appetite already but force herself to eat because Sana cooked for them and she don't want to waste her effort.
