Chapter 22

Somi and Chaeyoung are walking home- pushing their bikes beside them. They went to the lake for a swim after Somi went to Chaeyoung's room... They do what they used to do before, when they are younger.

"So you're back for good?" Somi

"Yeah" Chaeyoung replied "Dad's right... There's no reason for me to go back to Korea. My family's here, my life's here... Everything's in here... I was broken into pieces since then, and now that I'm back... I have to fix myself"

"You think you have to bring back those pieces of yours?" Somi

Chaeyoung nodded "I actually feel a lot better since I came back here"

"Then... Go forward... If it's making you feel better, just continue living the moment" Somi

"Being here is enough" Chaeyoung

"Do you have any plans?" Somi

Chaeyoung shook her head "Right now, I'll just do whatever Mom and Dad wants me to do... Like attending sessions... Anything that can make them stop from worrying about me"

"How about you? Will that make you , is that what you want to do?" Somi

"Seriously? I'm uncomfortable being on the psychiatric clinic earlier... But it's just the first time, I'll get use to it" Chaeyoung

Somi nodded "As long as it could help... You might got intimidated sometimes, but you know what they used to say"

Chaeyoung's eyebrows furrows "What?"

"Fear not the darkness, but welcome its embrace" Somi

Chaeyoung chuckles "And my life is like what Leonardo Da Vinci said, While I thought that I was learning how to live, I have been learning how to die" she smiled at Somi "Will you sleep over tonight?"

"I'll think about it" Somi replied

"Okay" Chaeyoung shrug her shoulders "I'll keep my door lock"

"Hey! Leave it open" Somi protest

Chaeyoung smirk "Naah..." she teased and ride her bike

"Hey!" Somi rode her bike and follow the latter. They're like a child, chasing after each other for a nonsense argument.

A lot of things happened, not just in Chaeyoung's life but also to her entire family.

Taehyung came back from Korea, with his twin sister Jeongyeon and her wife Nayeon... Months after- Sana came and married Tzuyu.

Jeongyeon and Nayeon with their one month old daughter lives with them, even Tzuyu and Sana couldn't move out because that's their parents request... It is to stay together, specially now that Sana's four months pregnant and Tzuyu's still in med school, there's no way that their parents will allow them to leave...

Nayeon's glad that Sana's there with her, though Jeongyeon and Tzuyu's family treat them right... They're still glad to have a close friend beside them.

Chaeyoung is building her life again...

Living it the way that it should be...

But while the cub is busy with her life, Mina is still in Korea...

And Bambam? His persistent... Mina never had a boyfriend after him, which made him believe that Mina still wants him

"Mina I'll fetch you tonight... Let's eat dinner together" Bambam says as he followed Mina to the latter's cubicle

"Bam please, I don't want to" Mina replied

"We don't have a lot of work today Mina. How come you still don't want to go?" Bambam

Mina glare at the latter "First of all, I am not your girlfriend. Can't you just accept that I don't want to have a dinner with you?!"

"You're not in a relationship with anyone Mina. And the last time I checked, I didn't agree to that break up" Bambam

"I am not your girlfriend anymore, weather you like it or not" Mina

"I told you, I'll do everything to have you back" Bambam

"Bam could you please give some respect to yourself? You can't force me to be with you again! I don't really want to hurt your feelings, but you have to know... I am waiting for someone else, and that is not you" Mina

Bambam was taken aback of the latter's confession "You what?"

"I'm in love with someone else... And I'm in love with the same person for the past eight years" Mina

Bambam's forehead creased "We've been together... We've been together Mina!" He shouted, which made the few people from their office- flinch and stop what they're doing

"What's happening here?" The department head approached them

"Nothing ma'am... It's a relationship issue" Bambam explained

"If you can't take it, don't say it loud" The Dept. Head told Bambam "And what are you doing here? This is not your station... Not even your department, go back to your work"

"Yes ma'am" Bambam bowed his head and leave

Mina bowed her head to the lady- she was embarrassed of her ex boyfriend's actions. Bambam was pestering her ever since she broke up with him.
Mina sat on her chair and sigh heavily...
Feeling so drained of the drama that happened earlier. She reached for her phone and look at the last photo she had with Chaeyoung....

"When will you comeback Chaeyoungie?" Mina utter

She and Chaeyoung has an unstable communication. Sana told Mina that the cub is busy with her therapy session. The only way that Mina can talk to Chaeyoung is when she's on a video call with Nayeon and Sana, the two will call Chaeyoung- and that's how they talk... Just a simple 'Hi!' and 'How are you?'

Mina's still waiting for Chaeyoung, Momo once teased her that she thinks- Mina will pin Chaeyoung on the bed when the cub comes back... She never entertain any of her suitors, Bambam was just too persistent and pester her all the time.
But Mina knows who owns the half of her heart, she knows whom she wants to be with for the rest of her life...

And it's with Chaeyoung...

Bambam's in the bar, drinking with his friends... Ranting about Mina and the person she likes, which he thinks is a guy.

"Do you know how to make her be with you forever?" Jackson asked

Bambam lean closer "How?"

"Make her pregnant" Jackson

Bambam pull back his head "What the hell man?!"

"If you have a child with her, then she can't skip with you anymore" Jackson explained "Trap her with you, and there's no way out" he then laugh and look for a waiter

Bambam drank his beer, thinking of his friend's suggestion
