"Princess..." Taehyung hugs the crying Chaeyoung "It's fine.... Hyung's here" He said- rubbing the latter's back

And on that moment.... After a long time, Chaeyoung felt the warmth of safeness from the only man she trusted aside from her father...
Her mom having different boyfriends leave her scared, for she was traumatized when one of them tried to touch her... Chaeyoung built a wall against people she thinks will harm her... And Taehyung is an exception...

"Who's that?" Momo whispered

Nayeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and the rest of the crowd are looking at them. This is the first time that the girls see Chaeyoung being this close to a man, the cub never let anyone be this close to her.

"I think that's her brother" Sana replied

"Brother?" Mina asked

"Uhuh... Tzuyu told me that they have two brothers... One is Jeongyeon's twin" Sana explained

They can't hear what Chaeyoung and Taehyung was saying, all they can clearly understand is that Chaeyoung's crying.... Few minutes after, Jeongyeon and Tzuyu came. Taehyung told them something before they take Chaeyoung away... The two didn't even bother going inside and look at their Mom's wake, they leave just like that...

When the three girls left, Taehyung went in and walk in front of the coffin- looking at her dead mother...

"Taehyung..." Jimin went beside his cousin "Condolence"

Taehyung nod "What happened to her?"

Jimin lean and whisper to the latter "They're not telling us, but I heard they found her lifeless on the floor" he glance at their side, making sure that nobody eavesdrop "I think she's taking pills"

Taehyung becomes emotionless as he looks at her mother "Drugs took you away from us once... I guess it came back to finish you" He utter- clenching his fist

"What?" Jimin asked

Taehyung sigh and shook his head "Are they hiding it to the public?"

"If my assumptions are correct, I guess they do... It's a scandal if it's true" Jimin replied

"I haven't seen her for a long time... And I think, things never changed" Taehyung

Taehyung witness his mom taking drugs before... He's actually the first one to learn about their mother's addiction. Taehyung told it to their Father which lead them to divorce... He still remember his first court trial... It wasn't because he did something bad, and was battling for his innocence... He really thinks that it's most painful than that, because it was the battle for custody...

When their mom came back after years of absence, the woman wants to get them from their father... They're all underage that time when their parents fought for them...
That is the most painful for Taehyung, for it was the reason why their biological Mom took Chaeyoung from them... The court let her have the younger one, and that is the cub who's just thirteen years old that time.

Jeongyeon, Tzuyu, and Chaeyoung went to Jeongyeon's hotel room... It is because Taehyung asked them to leave the wake earlier due to Chaeyoung's state... The cub can't stop crying, so the eldest one decided to take her home.

"How are you?" Jeongyeon worriedly asked "You're with Mom, I know it hurts"

"Why does it pains?" Chaeyoung bitterly laugh "Why am I hurt after losing something I never had?"
