Ch.6 Palpitations

POV: 3rd Person

Y/n made direct eye contact with that guy and he reminded her of HIM. The guy winked at her and left. Her heart started beating loud and fast. Small droplets of cold sweat started forming on her forehead.

Yunho noticed her condition and dragged her out to get some air.

"He looks like..." She said with a quit voice and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Are you okay? Here drink some water" Yunho said while offering her a bottle. She chugged half the bottle down.

"I think I'll be okay" was all that left her mouth when she actually meant to say that she'll be freaking out everytime she sees him.

(Time skip)

It was lunch break. Y/n and Yunho headed to the canteen, took their seats and started eating their food.

"Did you see him again?" Yunho asked hesitantly.

"Yeah, he's in my dance class. And apparently I couldn't stop looking at him so the teacher scolded me three times."

"What's his name?"

"I don't know yet."

"Didn't you say you stopped seeing those dreams a few weeks ago?" Yunho asked with confusion.

"They used to come on alternative days, then only once a week, then they stopped. And people say your mind can't imagine a new face and I've never seen this guy before maybe that's why his face was always so unclear. But I'm sure his last name was park. And he has a brother."

"Maybe you should just date him. I mean, he's the man of your dreams." Yunho said while laughing.

"No that would be a disaster. It looks like he attracts a lot of girls wherever he goes. What if he doesn't like me? Also we don't know if he has a girlfriend or not."

"Everyone likes you Y/n. And you're the one who attracts guys wherever you go. Atleast try being friends with him. You have no other friends except me and Mingi. You're always third wheeling and- Wait-
You haven't found your soulmate yet have you?"

"Shut up and eat your food"
Y/n shoved a spoonful of rice in his mouth.

(Time skip)

It's the end of a week in school and
Y/n got pretty famous for her dance and her rapping skills. What can we say, girl spat fire.

A few guys even tried approaching her, just like Yunho said, but she shamelessly(I mean politely) friend-zoned all of them. She made many friends but she was always with Yunho.

She stood by her locker while talking to her best friend.

"Hey so you're the new girl everyone has been talking about?"

Y/n looked at *that* guy, her heart threatening to burst out of her chest anytime now.

"Kang Y/n" She stretched her hand out.

"Park Chanyoung but call me Chan." He said while shaking her hand.

They both looked at each other not knowing what to do next.

"AhEm we have a class to attend." Yunho said breaking the silence

"I'll see you around then?" Chan gave her a sweet smile.

"Yeah sure" said Y/n while watching him walk away.

"Did you hear that? He said Park"

"Stop drooling. He probably came up to talk to you because you're always staring at him." Yunho said with a disgusted face and dragged her to class.

POV: Park Seonghwa

'I can't take this shit anymore. When does this end?' I thought wanting school to end as early as possible while resting my forehead on my locker.

I want to see her face again. I want to hold her in my arms.

I sigh deeply and look towards the locker which used to be her's. It was someone else's now.

I saw chan talking to that new girl. 'Does he leave even one?' I ignore the scene in front of me and go to class
