MY RESOLVE-

Locating Qud's house wasn't an easy task but I was finally here! I alighted from the car and strolled towards the entrance.
"Hey buddy!"  I looked towards my right to catch a glimpse of Suleiman walking towards me.
"As salaamu'alaykum"
"Wa'alaykumusalaam. I can see that you've got a plan up your  sleeves" he winked
"Excuse me? I don't think I get your drill"
"Fine,let me spell it out-tell me one of the reasons you're so handsomely kitted isn't to get my little sis to notice you?ah"
I smiled and shook my head. Though looking good is one of my ideals but truthfully I put a little effort today just to look sharp.
"You might be right though" I replied in all honesty.
"You're a correct guy. come closer" he said. I did as was told,then he hugged me not without sniffing me. Who's this guy?I wondered. "You smell so nice too. My sis has nose for good smell. You don't want to see her reaction when anyone goes close to her all sweaty" He told me smiling. I took a mental note of that-good to know!

"Hi Suleiman" a lady walked up to us who'd have passed for a beauty if not for her skimpy dressing-a short black tube gown,with an aqua marine stiletto and purse, few jewelries and wavy hair all brushed and packed with tendrils. I wonder who she's and realizing that I was staring,I lowered my gaze seeking Allah's forgiveness and taking my leave.

SULEIMAN

"Meerah!what are you doing here?!"
"what sort of question is that? Did you ever think that I'd miss this for the world?!"
"I really don't know why you came but just don't put up a show else you'll have me to answer to!"
"whatever" she responded with a wave of her hand and walked in. I need to quickly tell Salis.

RIHANNAH

"Where's this flower vase ehn!" I stood up,adjusted the sleeves of my qimar and kept searching.
"Aunty Ry,mummy said I should give you this" one of my cousins handed me the exact vase I was searching for.
"uhn! jazaakillahu khairan Khairay". "Aameen wa hiyakki".
I took the vase and walked towards the living room which is almost filled to its capacity since the aqd is ongoing. I was almost at the entranc when I saw a man walking towards me. I couldn't make out the face but what I was able to see pleased me-he's tall,has a turban wrapped round his head,on a white shirt and very sharp charcoal black suit with nice cufflinks,his trousers is ankle length and the colour matches his turban and he's a beautiful rolex wristwatch on his wrist and I could catch his smell from here-lavender mixed in strawberry and mint! "wow!"
"Is someone gawking?" I came out of my fantasy instantly
"w--what?"
"I saw you admiring that arabian looking man"
"Suleiman,I wasn't admiring no man"
"you were little sis and you even muttered "wow"
"I did?" "yes you did. I'm happy you can atleast say for once in your life you're attracted to a man"
"I'm not but by the way,who's he?"
"you don't know him?"
"I don't think I do. I can't get a view of his face"

"your mystery will be unveiled soon but as for me I need to let Salis know that Meerah is here"
"what does she want?"
"beats me" He left me to do as said. I took few steps and noticed that man wasn't there anylonger,but who's he? 

I went back to fetching my flowers and more vases to be placed on tables before the conclusion of the aqd.

I joined the caterers to do few things as well. While busy I was preoccupied in my thoughts wondering where I would meet a man of my dream. Do I really want to do this? What would the person think of me after listening to my story? Then my thought drifted to the man I saw few minutes ago. who's he? Although I heard him talking to someone before Suleiman showed up and his voice rings a bell but where?

I felt my phone vibrate

"Ry! guess who just got marriage bound!"

"Quds,calm down and stop shouting ok? You ofcourse" I replied laughing. I could feel the happiness radiating from her voice

"yes it's me! where are you? I need to change"

"I'll be right there SIL". I washed my hands and took my leave.

Taking the stairs to Quds room,I saw Salis talking with Meerah and I could tell it wasn't pleasing. I just hope she doesn't cause any trouble.

I knocked and opened the door to fall into the open arms of my bff just turned SIL.

We chatted while she got dressed. I told her about the strange man and she made fun of me then I had to tell her about Meerah so gets prepared.

"So she's here. she can't ruin my happy mood Ry,let's go"

We walked back and met Salis still talking to Meerah. Quds walked up to them with a beautiful smile on her face and slid her hand into her husband's looked him in the eye "hello husband. Hi Meerah. Thanks for coming. How's my supposed stepson?"

"He isn't supposed! let that sink in"

"Let's wait for the DNA result until then he's as called! please excuse my husband and I"

She took her husband away from  her and the way the scene played out just made me smile.

"what's funny small girl?"
"I can't help but be happy with my brother's choice"
"I know you never liked me but we shall see"

"Is that a threat?"
" take it whichever way it comes"

Who's the strangeman?

Will Qud and Salis' love wither Meerah's storm about to be unveiled?
