8. Ignore

     "No! Don't chew on that!" You yell as you run down the hall, chasing after XiaoBei's Labrador Retriever, Haru. "Haru!"

    "Bei! You're dog is on a rampage!" Jaerin yells down the hall, watching as XiaoBei laughs her ass off.

    They both watch as you charge the dog, running after the the animal with your favorite pair of Louboutin's in his mouth.

    Being on the first floor, you continuously run past the library and grand hall of the castle, but when the dog makes a break for the stairs, you practically faint.

     You hear trill whistling, your friend's and your own head whipping around to the sound.

     "Here, boy," Namjoon calls to the dog, coming from the French doors of the library. Haru immediately runs to Namjoon, tail wagging furiously. Namjoon kneels down and pets Haru's head for a few seconds, smiling down at the dog before kissing its head and gently taking the high heel from its mouth. "Such a good boy."

     Namjoon gets up from his kneeling position, turning to you and nervously walking to stand about a foot away. He holds out the slobbery shoe. "I know they're your favorite."

    Without saying a word, you swipe the shoe from his hand and turn around, making a beeline for the stairs. You trot up them and out of sight.

      Neither of the girls say anything at all, only gives Namjoon an indecipherable look before following after you.

     Haru lays down and whines, covering his face with one paw.

     "Yeah, I know what you're saying," Namjoon sighs.

     "Namjoonie!" Raelin trots from the library and up to Namjoon, throwing her arms around his neck. She kisses him sweetly on the lips, though he doesn't kiss back.

Haru growls.

"Namjoon, who's dog is that?" Raelin sneers.

Haru barks before a whistle is heard from upstairs. He skitters away and up the stairs, and Namjoon finds that he misses the dog once he's gone.

"Anyways- what are you up to today, because I was thinking we could have some fun-"

    "Eh," Namjoon starts, thinking of excuses, "I'm really into this book I just started. Maybe later..."

     Raelin's face puckers as she gnaws on her lip. "Um, sure."

     Namjoon quickly walks away and back into the library, closing the doors behind him without a word.

     "Y/N, come on, lighten up a little... he was trying to be nice- I mean I get that you're always going to hate them, but still, you rule a kingdom with them, whether you like it or not," Jaerin snickers. You think she means it as a joke, but you can't help but get a little snippy.

"Yeah, well you try getting cheated on by the people you thought were your soulmates," you snap.

"Woah, Y/N, try not to bite her head off..." XiaoBei throws her hands up in defense, only for you to turn on her.

"Yeah, well I'm sorry I'm not above love like you, little miss perfect," you bark at the poor woman.

Both girls gasp at that.

"Hey, what's all the commotion out here?" Mark and Johnny come out of their shared bedroom, hand in hand.

You roll your eyes at that.
