Italics- the hallucinations

Oliver

Oliver grazed his fingers on Lydia's arm and their eyes met and he smiled. This time, he wasn't dreaming.

It was a real fantasy when he heard the words 'I love you' escape her lips. Oliver couldn't even grasp the fact she told him. He was in love with her. He loved being around her and the energy she emitted.

"I love you," he whispered and he smiled when she cupped his cheek. "I love you too," she told him and his heart melted. Every problem he had disappeared; he was living in the moment.

"When I was saved..." he began, "all I could think about was falling down the mountain." "Are you okay?" She asked, touching the bandage under his peck. "Now I am," he exhaled, kissing her forehead. "I know you don't you don't heal fast, but sometimes it's mentally," she said softly. "I know."

"John told me what happened the other night," he said and she looked up at him, pursing her lips, "Laurel was saving you, but you didn't catch the bar to the helicopter." "I was falling face first," she told him, "and I felt the essence of death sweep over me and I screamed. The moment I opened my eyes again, the waves of my voice levitated me from falling."

Oliver felt Lydia's body shiver and goosebumps fill her arm and he lifted the blanket over her. "Are you cold?" He asked curiously. "I've been for a while," she answered, lifting her body up.

"I need a teacher..." Oliver trailed off and she looked back at him, "to help me with Ra's." "Who?" She asked and he raised his eyebrows. "You and Malcolm."

Oliver and Lydia entered Thea's loft to see her sitting on the couch. "Hi Ollie," she gave him a hug before Lydia. "I've already called Malcolm," she said and he slightly nodded.

"He's already here," Lydia spoke, turning to the shadows of the loft and Malcolm stepped out. "Hello Thea, Oliver, Lydia," he greeted, standing shoulder to shoulder with Lydia. Oliver sat down next to Thea on the couch, to listen to what they had to say.

"I'm doing physical tests," Malcolm said. "And I'm doing mental," Lydia added. "Since when were you, two friends?" Thea asked bluntly. Oliver was curious as well and glanced between Malcolm and Lydia. "Fine, when do we start?" Oliver asked, standing up. There was a slight movement Lydia did and Oliver fell unconscious on the ground.

Lydia

Lydia watched as Malcolm carried his daughter's faint body and drop it on the sandy beach, next to Oliver's. She tossed their camping gear and jackets, standing back next to Malcolm.

"Wake up!" Lydia shouted, and Oliver and Thea quickly got up, catching their balance. She could tell Oliver was not surprised at the location they were at.

"Lian Yu," Oliver said. "Well, you did ask two crazies to teach you," she told him. "It was my idea," Malcolm said. "I've set a psychic blow on the whole island. Anywhere you go, you might go crazy of hallucinations that are meant for you," she said. "Find out what they mean and they'll stop. Somethings may be real and others are fake," Malcolm added.

"This feels like the Hunger Games," Lydia muttered. "And you just volunteered yourself as a tribute," Malcolm said. Lydia's eyes went big as she looked at his grin. He threw a smoke bomb and disappeared. Through a megaphone, Malcolm shouted, "Let the games begin!" and the plane took off, with him dropping an extra camping gear.

"You just got thrown into your own game," Oliver joked and she glared at him, picking up her stuff. "At least I know how to play." She began walking into the forest with her chin high, not even knowing where to go.
