Mystery

"There's a race tonight 11pm at the North Wilkesboro speedway. It's a bunch of rich kids with expensive cars and no racing experience. The track is .6 miles long with four turns. It's a small track and a quick 18 mile race. It should be a pretty easy race to win but there is one racer to look out for, a racer by the name Ghost, he is undefeated. Your car is a lot faster than his so even then it should be easy to win." I nodded my head in understanding, absorbing all of the information I was given.

"I can't see you, so say something."

"Oh right, sorry. Yeah I got it boss. Why do I have to race in it and win?" I asked as he huffed in annoyance. What was so important about this race? I like racing but I'm curious and kinda nosey.

"Well, for one, it's a high stakes race worth a lot of money. And also during the after party there is gonna be a arms trade that I need you to scope out. We need to know who is getting those guns." I heard him say all these idiots before hanging up the phone. And leaving me quite puzzled.

It's 10:30 now and the track is 20 minutes away so I got dressed in black jeans and a black shirt with a black lord culture club racing team jacket. I walked down stares to the garage and grabbed my keys off of the wall of keys. I'm driving a red Bugatti Veyron. It's one of my favorite cars to drive.

Pulling out of the driveway I started making my way to the track. the radio buzzing different songs until Carolina - Harry styles started playing. I started drumming my fingers on the steering wheel to the beat.

She's got a family in Carolina
So far away, but she says I remind her of home
Feeling oh so far from home

I started singing the lyrics smiling still drumming my finger on the wheel.

She never saw herself as a west coaster
Moved all the way 'cause her grandma told her
"Towns, better swim before you drown"

I started bobbing my head along with the lyrics, having my own little concert.

She's a good girl
She's such a good girl
She's a good girl
She feels so good

I closed my eyes singing with my heart. Playing the drums with my fingers. The song slowed down a bit with the chorus.

She's got a book for every situation
Gets into parties without invitations
How could you ever turn her down?

I started singing to the imaginary person beside me. Laughing at myself a bit.

There's not a drink that I think could sink her
How would I tell her that she's all I think about?
Well, I guess she just found out

I rolled my window down sticking my arm out of it, drumming my ring clad fingers on the roof, singing

She's a good girl
She's such a good girl
She's a good girl
She feels so good

Screaming the lyrics, speeding down the road. Man I love this song.

She feels so good

I passed a couple cars laughing and feeling good.

I met her once and wrote a song about her
I wanna scream, yeah
I wanna shout it out
And I hope she hears me now
