I blinked a couple of times as I looked at Ukai-san, "Wh-What was that, Keishin-san? I don't think I heard that quite well..."

He sighs and forces me to look at Karasuno and Fukurodani's match, "Th-That just came out of my mouth accidentally." He stutters. I could see in the corner of my eyes that he was nervous.

I grabbed his arm, "Takeda-sensei, Kiyoko-senpai, Hitoka-chan... You guys help the boys for a while, I'll be talking with Keishin-san outside for a while." I said and dragged him outside the gym. I glared at Ukai, "Explain." I demanded.

He cleared his throat and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck, "W-Well, I'm not ready to explain it to you yet... And I absolutely-" I texted my mother that I would be video calling her, "Wait, what are you doing?" Ukai-san asks me as he looks at me and my phone.

Luckily, my mother picked up in an instant. "(Y/n), honey... I'm kind of in a tight space right now, a pile of papers is filling up in my office. I need to finish this first..." She tiredly said as I could see her rubbing her temple.

I sighed, "Mom, can you just explain this whole thing with Keshin-san." I said and showed Ukai who was behind me and he awkwardly waved, while my mother's eyes widened in shock.

"A-Aiko, how are you...?" He awkwardly asks her.

My mother fixed her posture and her hair, "Keishin-kun, I'm doing well..." She replies with an awkward smile plastered on her face.

"So...?" I raised my eyebrows in confusion and curiosity.

My mom took a deep sigh, "I'm just gonna cut this to the chase... I know I've been hiding you this, but Keishin and I are engaged... Although, we're not married yet though." She pauses for a while, "Because Keishin here ran away from me when he found out I was pregnant with you!" She screams and angrily glares at Ukai.

I turn around and glare at him, "Wow, I can't believe you left a pregnant woman alone..." I said.

Ukai-san raises his hand in defense, "I-I was too scared to face you..." He silently says.

"So, did you know I was your daughter?" I ask him.

He slowly nodded, "Yes, I could see Aiko's resemblance in your face. Also, because of our surname, of course." He bows to me, "I-I'm sorry, (L/n)- I mean, (Y/n)... I just didn't want to face you yet."

I sighed and pat his shoulder, "It's fine unless mother here forgives you for leaving her." I said, pointing at my phone, showing my mother's disappointed, heart-broken, and angry face.

Ukai fixed his posture and clears his throat, "A-Aiko... I'll come back for you again, I swear. I'll help your daughter in school, I promise to be better. W-Will you come back to me again?" He asks with a sad smile.

Mother sighs, "I'll think about it first, Keishin. I'll call you when I make up my mind, then we'll meet somewhere. Okay? Anyways, I still have a lot of work to do. I'll get going now." She says and hangs up.

I sighed and immediately embraced Ukai, "I can't believe that I have a father! All I kept on thinking was that my father left me or he died... But he didn't! You're here, Keishin-san, here with me..." I began crying.

To be honest, my mother never told me anything about me having a father so I didn't ask her anything about him too. It's kinda sad that I had to live with a father for sixteen years of my life, but I had a feeling that he's somewhere here... Then, I finally saw him.

Ukai embraces me back, "I-I'm truly sorry, (Y/n). I just didn't know what to do when I found out that you were here in Karasuno and even joining with the boys, I was just too scared to talk to you... I'll be with you from now on, I'll be your best dad, I'll do my best to make you happy. I-I love you, (Y/n)." He says as he embraces me tightly.
