I made my way to the locker room, having gotten an emergency pack meet from Scott. The entire pack was there by the time I entered.

"Why did we choose here to meet? It's smells horrible" Lydia complained.

"Really? It smells bad? In the boy's locker room, that doesn't make any sense at all" I replied sarcastically. Scott and Issac snickered from their positions leaned against the lockers.

"Enough" Derek rolled his eyes.

"Oh-Kay sour wolf has entered the building" I muttered under my breath, only to receive a glare in return from the oldest member in the pack.

"We have a new threat, the Argents warned us about it" Scott started, sobering up. "They are the world's best hunters and they've come to track the werewolf packs in the area"

"That means no venturing out alone" Derek stepped in "we're a pack so we need to act like it."

"That's funny coming from you" I remarked, knowing how much of a loner he is.

"So what about when we go home?" Lydia asked.

"Everyone can crash at my house until we get this sorted out, Stiles' dad is trying to run them out of town the best he can" Scott explained. "But we have to stay together"

"Wait how come my dad knew about this before me Scott?" I sent a look to him. "Best friend code"

"Whatever" Derek stepped in, pointing toward the door as the bell rang. "Everyone act normal"

"Oh yeah a twenty something year old guy hanging around a high school, totally normal" I patted Derek's shoulder as I passed to go to the hallway, walking with Scott to my next class.

...

"Stiles!" I turned to see Lydia making her way toward me. "We aren't supposed to separate remember" she had her lunch tray in her hands.

"Scott had to get something from his locker" I shrugged sitting at the nearest table and shaking my head at anyone who tried to sit in a seat we were saving for Issac and Scott.

"Derek has been sticking to the windows all day, I was afraid my teacher was going to think he was a creeper" Lydia laughed, gesturing to sour wolf himself who was currently trying his best to blend into the shadows.

"My dad's taking care of it, which means Mr. Argent is probably helping him out, it'll all be over soon" I assured, digging in to my food.

"You're not worried?" Lydia asked, stabbing at her salad with her plastic fork.

Shaking my head, I shrugged. "I'm a big fan of ignoring things until they magically go away"

"Is everything a joke to you Stiles?" Lydia scoffed.

"I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones, Sarcasm is my only defense" I picked at the food in my hands.

"Hey, sorry about ditching you" Scott sat down, Isaac went next to Lydia. "But I found him on the way"

"It's fine, so what's the big deal about these hunters anyway?" I asked, looking at my best friend.

Scott seemed to zone out for a second before replying. "Derek said they're the oldest family in the world, their secrets have been passed down for generations." He listened again "they have a reputation for hitting their intended target"

"Fantastic" I huffed, leaning against the chair. "Now we have to deal with hunters who we probably can't convince that we're actually on their side"

Scott suddenly dropped his head on the table and groaned. "My dad's coming into town this week, first this and now him?"

"I'm confused" Isaac tilted his head. "I though your dad died"

I shook my head "no, but he might as well could be and the rest of us wouldn't know it" I sent an apologetic look to Scott "he's an FBI agent"

"We'll be okay, we always have been and we always will be" Scott reassured us, although I'm not sure if it was more to himself than us.

"Yeah we will Scottie!" I put my hand on his shoulder. "Because we always save the day"
