After ordering I turned around and caught Minji looking at me. Her eyes went wide as she looked away.

It froze me for a few seconds.

Why was she looking at me? Surprised when I caught her?

I walked towards her a little shy and tense. The moment I sat down she still wasn't looking at me.

Why are we so awkward with each other right now? Specially her.

Usually she's so annoyed at me.

I always thought that she's this volcano who's so scary most times and short tempered. Maybe I don't know her much.

She's cute though, like what Haruto told me.

What the heck am I thinking?

I should break the ice.

"So um..." I started. "How did their exams go? Your kids?"

She looked at me, a little less tense now. She said, "A lot of them passed, including Dayeon. Some failed."

I nodded, remembering the little girl Dayeon who grew up with an alcholic mother.

"What's gonna happen to those who failed the exams?" I asked again, curious too, because maybe I'll have a role in it.

"Good thing you asked," she smiled as she leaned towards me.

Whenever I get something right or I do something good during intern time she would smile like that at me. And I love that kind of smile of hers.

Minji looks cute and prettier when she smiles.

I wish she would smile often when she's with me.

She started talking. "You are in charge of those who failed majority of the subjects. They'll be having extra classes, an additional hour after the usual class. After the other students gets dismissed you will start the class. You will teach them on what subjects they find hard and what topics confuses them."

I nodded. "Will you be there?"

I was suddenly shocked with that I asked. It was like my mouth has a mind of its own.

Why did I even ask that?

"Don't worry," she chuckled. "You'll do great. You've been my intern for several months now. I'll also be there in case you need help."

Oh, what a relief.

I slightly smiled, "thank you."

"Oh, it's nothing," she smiled back.

After a few seconds I saw her avoiding eye contact from me again.

No more topic means awkwardness.

I feel shy and awkward too but I like being in her company. Whether it be in work or not.

Our order came and I saw her eyes lit up. It made me smile a little.

I thanked the waiter and we both started eating quietly.

I have to admit. Minji is cute. And... ever since Haruto and Yoshi started teasing me about her, I started feeling something different when I am with her. Something I have never felt before.

I have never seen her been this shy and awkward with me before so I started thinking that I want to know her more.

Because I do want to know her more.

I like her company.

I want to be with her more.

I finished first and watched her eat her cheesecake. I noticed that everytime she leans to the plate some pieces of her hair falls too.

Maybe it's a nuiscance to her.

"H-hey, Minji-ah," I called her and she glanced at me.

I pointed to her hair, "your hair, is it bothering you?"

"Oh," she said as she realized it.

She tucks those strands of hair on the back of her ear and she continued eating, not looking at me.

As soon as she finished she took a last sip from her coffee and sighed. "Ah, that was good."

I smiled. "Really?"

She smiled too as she nodded. "Mhm."

"Do you want to have coffee every morning?" I suggested, a little confident.

Because I want to spend every morning with her too.

She suddenly looked flushed. It took her a few seconds before answering me. "S-sure."

I chuckled, and she chuckled too.

Our morning coffee went our good.

It actually felt like a date... and I loved it.

I wish we could do that all the time.

I want to spend more time with her.
