Warnings: Just some angst thrown your way and my shitty free-writing.

Heavy drops of rain fall desperately from the sky and dark clouds linger overhead, casting a gloomy visual over the city. Water fills the holes in the concrete, creating puddles that little kids dressed in raincoats and rubber boots rush to jump around in. A chilly breeze swept by, calm and quiet, and very light- but chilling nonetheless.
"Are you just going to sit there all day?" [Y/n]'s mom asks and sits a hot cup of tea on the coffee table.
[Y/n] didn't reply, she only exhaled and pressed her head against the window-pane. Her days have become longer, tiring even, since Joe left. There are no strong arms to run to anymore when times got tough. He was gone. And she couldn't help but blame herself.
She had pushed him away to the point where he finally got up and left. When she got back from work a week ago, all of his stuff, including their engagement photos, was gone. She wondered what he had done with them and why he would even take them until she found them in the trash; shredded to pieces. He was angry, she knew that much.
Standing to her weakened, full-height, [Y/n] drug herself from the living room to upstairs where her old room still sits just the way she left it all those years ago, her tea abandoned and left for the air to eat at its warmth. Sky-blue bed sheets cover the twin-sized mattress as she lays down and stares at the wall for what seems like forever.
She wondered what Joe was doing. Is he a mess like she is? Heartbroken? Does he lay in bed and stare at nothing? Can he eat? How well is he sleeping without her? Does he still think about her? Has he missed work? Does he cry? All of these questions and many more float around in her mind, every last thought or reminiscent captured with Joe's name and face.
Calling him was no use, he has had enough with her calling and decided to change his number. That alone confirmed most of her fears. He is okay and he is done, officially. There was no second chance for her, maybe Joe thought she didn't deserve it. Either way, it still hurt.
A choked sob echoes throughout the room yet no tears were to be found. She had cried them all out. There was nothing she could do and it killed her, her heart slowly chipping away. How could I do this, she wondered. He deserves so much more. But there was no going back and he wouldn't give her the time of day to explain or apologize, not as she deserved it anyway.
With no more tears left to cry, [Y/n] finally is able to drift off to sleep, her dreams filled with a large man with sleek black hair and a perfect smile.

A/N: Please read!
Hello! So I woke up and I changed my mind about some things. I will still be charging for certain things, but not like I posted yesterday. Here's a link to my Ko-fi if you want to check it out: https://ko-fi.com/courtneymcintosh You can also just buy me a coffee on there and I will combine the first two commission packs for your request.
Also, I know that this is short. It's non-requested and just a free-write of mine, a little bit inspired by All Things Go. I'm just trying to get back into the writing mood. But thank you for reading my trash! And thank you for your support, it really means a lot.
Bye guys!
