23| The past attacks

[Y/n's POV]

"Excuse me what?" Soo ah raised her eyebrow "Okay that was a nice show but Y/n is gonna leave this school. I'm sure mr Jin is innocent"

"Darling" Her dad sighed "Let me handle it, please"

I peeked at Namjoon who's sitting next to me quietly

The tension is too strong in here

"Mr Kim" He looked at Namjoon "What is your letter doing on my desk?"

"It's actually her boyfriend's" He said casually "He just asked me to give it to her because he was quite busy. I came to her school to do as I was told and I found her in here. I gave it to her but I guess she forgot it on your desk"

The principal looked confused "Couldn't he just text her?"

"She doesn't answer his texts" He answered right away

"Couldn't he just go to her house and have a private talk? I don't think that he wanted all of you to get involved in this and I don't really like lies mr Kim"

"That's right sir no one is involved in their personal life and this is the reason why we don't know what's wrong between them" He stood up and fixed his tie "As good friends the only thing we can do is to support them" He looked at me and gave me a soft smile

Jin stood up and nodded "Yes. If you excuse me now, I'd like to go back to my class"

I couldn't look into anyone's eyes. Everyone just woke up today and decided to support my decisions!? This is insane

"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding" He stood up and bowed "You can go back to your works"

"But dad!" Soo ah shouted

"Good day" Namjoon bowed and headed out with Jin following behind

I got up "Can I go back to class?"

He nodded "I'm sorry for the interruption"

I bowed and left the office, walking confused in the corridor. Everything's so strange today.

At the end of the hallway I saw Jin shaking Namjoon's hand. After this, Jin told him something and Namjoon nodded his head

Jin tapped his shoulder and headed to the class that he's teaching at this period so I ran to stop Namjoon from leaving

"Wait!" I fastened my speed and grabbed his arm "Namjoon" I tried to catch my breath as he turned his head to look at me

He wrapped his arms around me to give me a tight hug

"Hey" I smiled and hugged him back "Who informed you to come here?"

He pulled back "Jin did"

He knew that this would happen..

But don't those two hate each other? "But.."

"Everything's okay. The good thing is that you won't get expelled" He smiled and tapped my head

"I thought you're mad at me.." I rubbed my arm

"I was actually mad at myself not you" His dimples appeared on his soft cheeks as a gentle smile formed on his lips "We had a talk with Jin and we came to the conclusion that we were both jealous jerks"

"Oh" Thank God they know it now

"By the way" He looked down as he was fixing the rings on his fingers "I learnt that your parents approved"

"Yeah" I smiled

"That's.. great!" He tapped my shoulder "Anyways I have to go to work now. I'll give you a call some time"
