19| Secret feelings

[Y/n's POV]

Yoongi slid his hand under the table and reached my hand

I wasn't expecting this at all... How does he know? Why is he so calm?

I'm so confused

"Dad.." Yoongi spoke up but dad shook his head

"You don't need to explain"

Yoongi tightened his hold on my hand and remained quiet

We're both in shock, we can't understand what is happening in my dad's mind right now

"I knew that something has changed on you Yoongi" He said, staring at his stepson's eyes "I realized it late though"

"I've changed?" He asked

Dad nodded "Everyday you look happier and happier. I remember the first day I met you," he smiled and then continued "You were locked in your room most of the times. You didn't want to accept the fact that your mother was moving on. You didn't really like me did you?"

Yoongi looked down at our hands, not saying anything

"About a year ago you started opening up to me"

I looked at Yoongi and he looked at me

Dad looked at both of us "I guess this was the time he started catching feelings for you Y/n?" He smiled

Is he working at the FBI or what

"Dad you're scaring me.." I said not kidding at all. How can he remember so many details?

"I'm a bit overprotective with you and you know that my angel"

"You don't seem mad though..." I said, trying to understand what is his opinion for this

"I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed" He answered

Yoongi sighed

"I'm disappointed because you hid this from me and you didn't trust me"

Where would I find the strength to tell him such a thing...

"I know that it wouldn't be easy for you to talk to me about your relationship with your 'brother'. But I think it would be better if I knew from the beginning...I mean, you wouldn't have to hide all the time" he chuckled

"So you're okay with it?" Yoongi asked

I've never seen my dad so calm before..

I'm sure he doesn't like what is happened between Yoongi and I. He just doesn't want to stop it because he loves me and he wants me to be happy

"Yes I am" He said with no hesitation

Yoongi's gummy smile appeared "Really!?"

"I know that it seems weird and illegal but...If you two are happy I'm double happy for you guys"

I think I'm gonna cry

"But what about mom?" Yoongi asked still concerned

"I approve" Mom walked towards the table we're sitting and dragged a chair to take a seat and join us

"Oh honey you're here" Dad smiled at her

Mom nodded and sat next to him "Next time, don't hesitate to talk to us about anything. We were, we are and we will be here for you no matter what. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am" Yoongi bowed his head and giggled

I smiled as well and for some reason tears started rolling down my cheek
