Chapter 14: Believe

HARRY'S POV

Two weeks had passed since lisa was in the hospital. She hasn't woke up, and we haven't found Thomas. Yes, now we all know his name and the investigation keeps going, and it won't stop until I see him in jail. Lynne, Lisa's mom has been discharged so the only place I've been in... is this room. I was currently sitting in a chair next to lisa's bed, holding her hand as if my life was depending on it.

'I miss you' I whispered to her, hoping that she could hear me. She didn't and I was losing hopes, I was slowly giving up.

'Harry' I heard somebody calling me. I turned around, Lauren was standing in the door, with Alex and Kath behind her, holding some flowers and teddy bears. I looked at them confused. 'This is for Lisa, some fans gave it to us' She said, probably because of my confused face. I nodded, walking to the window where it was full of gifts. They placed them there and I looked at them.

'Any news?' Kath asked me and I shook my head.

'Not really' I replied, looking at the girl laying on the bed. Somehow, she still managed to look extremely beautiful. Kath and Alex left after a couple of minutes, leaving me alone with Lauren. Me and her developed a strong relationship, more like a brother and sister relationship. I knew she was the one most worried about Lisa and I was grateful for that. I've watched her standing up for Lisa, standing up for me and I was forever grateful.

'Do you think she will wake up?' Lauren suddenly asked me.

'I really hope so' I replied to her, not really believing in my own words. We remained in silence until she excused herself and went outside to answer a call. I sat in my usual spot next to Lisa's bed. 'You really have to wake up, please Lisa. Don't leave me here, don't give up. I miss you, please wake up' I begged, I really begged to her as I held her hand strongly. I've done this, begging her to wake up but it has been unsuccessful as you may notice, but this time... something changed. I felt her hand gently squeezing mine and I looked up. For the first time in weeks I saw her beautiful brown eyes, and I felt happy, extremely happy.

LISA'S POV

I slowly opened my eyes, and I saw the most beautiful man standing next to me.

'Hi' He said at the verge of tears. I gave him a small smile, trying to comfort him. I saw him pressing a button and after a couple of seconds, a few doctors and nurses were in the room.

'Welcome back lisa' They said, and then checked some things. Harry was standing a few meters away, giving them space to work on me. A few minutes later, they walked out leaving us alone again.

'Hi' He greeted me again, and I grabbed his shirt, bringing him closer to me. We melted in a long and needed kiss. I needed him, I wanted him. 'Wow' He said as soon as we ended the kiss. I laughed.

'Thank you' I told him and he looked at me confused.

'For the kiss?'

'No, for saving me' I replied and I saw him looking at me, his green eyes locked with mine while giving me a half smile.

'I would've done that 10, 30, 50 times if needed' He replied, giving me small kisses on my lips.

'LISA?' we heard Lauren. She was standing in front of the bed, carrying a bag with food and two coffees. She was in shock. 'Oh my God, you're awake' She whispered as she walked closer to me.

'Yes I am' I replied laughing. I was in a little pain, but I didn't cared. She looked at me as tears were falling down her cheeks and she embraced me.

'I've missed you' She whispered to me as she sobbed in my shoulder.

'It's okay, I'm here. I won't leave' I assured her.

HARRY'S POV

A few weeks had passed and today was the day when Lisa was being discharged. I was excited and happy to finally be able to take her home, to protect her myself. I drove to my apartment, she was staying there even though she refused. I parked and I carried her bridal style to the elevator.

'Very nice, Styles' She told me as she played with my hair.

'If you don't stop, I'll throw you to the ground' I told her and she winked at me, still playing with my hair.

'I know you won't' She whispered in my ear, giving me a kiss in the cheek. We walked inside the apartment and I lay her on the bed, as the doctor indicated me. She wasn't able to leave the bed, at least just for today and then she could slowly start to walk and do the normal things she was used to. I walked to the kitchen to make some lunch. The girl I was in love with was finally in my arms, I was finally able to protect her and I couldn't be happier.
