"Come on Adi, you need to start getting ready!! I want to get to the venue early." My little sister, Kylie, yells at me from upstairs. I just sigh and get up from the couch and head upstairs to start getting ready.
Today was the day of the 5 Seconds of Summer concert in Miami. I personally wasn't really a fan, I barely know any of their songs or what they are even about. I was just being forced to take my little sister to their concert.
I go into my closet and chose a pair of high-waisted black skinny jeans with rips in the knees. For my top I chose a maroon halter top from my favorite store Brandy Melville. Finally for my shoes I chose to wear my high-heeled Steve Madden lace up heels. It didn't bother me that it was summer I still enjoyed wearing dark colors. After putting on my outfit I walk into the bathroom to do my makeup. I decide to put on a little eyeshadow with a simple winged eyeliner.
As I walk downstairs my sister was already ready to go, so I grab my keys and we walk out front to the car. "Have fun!" My mom yells. "And be safe!! Love you both." "Love you too!" Me and Kylie yell back in unison and wave goodbye.
For the whole ride to the venue Kylie goes on and on about how excited she is. But it doesn't annoy me because I was like that when I had my Justin Bieber obsession. "There's everyone lined up to see if they come out!" She shouts. "Would you like to go join them?" I don't even know why I bothered asking I knew she was going to say yes. Although I really didn't want to deal with those crazy fans I felt like being a nice sister today.
As soon as I find a parking spot Kylie hops out of the car and quickly joins the crowd as I slowly follow behind.
It was now 3:30pm answer had been standing for about 20 minutes. Kylie had been meeting up with some of her Twitter friends and talking to them, leaving me sitting there on my phone. I spotted a Starbucks across the street, and boy did I need some caffeine to get myself through this night. "I'm going to go get a drink from Starbucks, you want anything?" I ask Kylie. "Just a tall double chocolate chip frap please and thank you." she replies to my offer and I leave the crowd and walk to Starbucks.
After about a 5 minute walk to Starbucks I finally walk in and notice a group of girls around this one guy. I ignore the fact and order my drinks, then walk over and wait for them. While I was waiting for my drinks I pull out my phone and go on Twitter. Suddenly I feel someone bump into me. I immediately look up and I'm captivated by the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen.
