Just a reminder that this all takes place before the main story

Lee Taemin was a mystery Jimin wanted to solve the moment they met. The way he moved, walked, talked and even dressed had Jimin whipped the second he laid eyes on him. His confidence was something he'd never seen in anyone but himself. His perfect ashy blonde hair, those eyes that looked so soft yet pierced right through Jimin's soul.
He was stunning and Jimin wanted him.
The first time they met was in Jimin's freshman year. Taemin was a sophomore. Yoongi wanted to take Jimin to the theatre to show him a possible date spot for Hoseok (Whom he was head over heels for). There was another high school doing a talent showcase there. Taemin had been a friend of Yoongi's and got them free front row seats.
For the most part, Jimin found the show mildly entertaining. He didn't think it was the most spectacular by any means but at least it wasn't boring (He knew could dance circles around them anyway). There was one group, however, that happened to catch Jimin's attention. They called themselves SHINee. That was when he noticed Taemin. As they performed their song 'Good Evening' Jimin kept his eyes focused on him.
Yoongi chuckled at the sudden investment Jimin had. He gave his friend a light jab once SHINee was off. "Enjoying the show?" Yoongi teased.
Jimin only rolled his eyes and tried to focus on the next performance but his mind just kept wandering to Taemin. He felt like he was falling too quickly. Jimin needed to calm down.
Seems Taemin wasn't going to allow that to happen.
The final performance was a solo. Taemin's solo. All the lights in the auditorium cut off. The odd sound was the clacking of someone's soles on the hard stage floor. The crowd began to murmur in suspense until they were shushed. The music slowly started to fade in along with the lights.
"From the beginning, you and I were divided. The red flower that blooms from an opposing energy." The airy tone of his voice sent chills down Jimin's spine. He leaned forward in his seat as Taemin began dancing. His movements were intoxicating.
"Sexuality. We are drunk in this emotion, where the sky and the Earth are tangled. This new world, we rule it. Sexuality. Sexuality~" And then they're making direct eye contact. It felt as though Jimin's soul was willingly being snatched by an incubus.
The more he continues, the more their eyes keep meeting. His expression and movements alone were enough to make Jimin feel a knot he's never felt before. Then Taemin's thrusting. In Jimin's direction.
By the time the song is over, Jimin is a pile of confusion and mixed emotions. Honestly, he wouldn't want it any other way.
Yoongi noticed his frazzled friend and grinned. "Got a new crush Jiminie?" He teased. Jimin didn't respond, he only kept his eyes on the now-empty stage where Taemin once stood. "How about we go back there and talk to him? I know it's gonna be scary, confronting him out of the blue. But I promise I won't let you-"
"Let's go!" So much for Yoongi trying to be a supportive friend. He forgot that Jimin had enough confidence to fuel over ten thousand people. There was no reason for him to even worry in the first place.
Oh, how wrong he was.
Because putting Jimin and Taemin in the same room created a sort of atmosphere Yoongi never thought he'd experience in his life.
When they spoke it was like watching aliens converse. Even the other members of SHINee were confused by what was happening. They introduced each other, then started teasing one another. Then from teasing...to insulting? Yoongi would never understand flirting, but he sure as hell knew that this wasn't how it went.
