"Oh god," Jungkook sighed. He made sure to keep count of every time he sighed today (It'd make a fun drinking game in the future). Right now however, he and Taehyung just needed to focus on finding the kids.
So while Tae went to put Jongho to sleep, Jungkook was busy playing an unexpected game of hide and seek with the others.
He couldn't believe this was how he decided to spend his free time.
Jungkook ran to the kitchen first. He heard something fall in the pantry and rushed in to find nearly everything knocked off the shelf! There was something missing as well. "They really love their organisation, huh?" Every shelf was labeled, and the one with the most things gone was labeled 'sugar'. "Dammit..."
Nap time was going to be postponed it seems. Jungkook headed to the hallway next where he found Mingi and Yunho "whispering" and giggling in the closet. "Do you think they'll find us?" Mingi "whispered".
"Not a chance! We're too sneaky!" Yunho "whispered" back. Whispered as in quietly shouting, because Jungkook could hear them from down the hall.
He thought he'd give them a moment so they could yell about just how sneaky they were, before Jungkook yanked the closet door open as he stared down at the children. "Play times over."
In hindsight it sounded much more menacing than intended. Him towering over them with his shadow casting over the tiny kids as he practically muttered a threat.
It was no wonder they ran away screaming.
Jungkook gave them about ten seconds to run and then he sprinted down the hall, quickly scooping the two children in his arms. "Nice try," he chuckled. "But you can't escape me."
Once again - he sounded just a bit too menacing. Scaring Mingi and Yunho enough to where they began to thrash in Jungkook's grasp. They weren't going down without a fight but it was a fight they had already lost.
Meanwhile, Taehyung was on the hunt for Yeosang, Wooyoung and San. The trio had managed to slip past him earlier when he was putting Jongho to sleep. He was sure he heard them run by but he had no clue where they went.
"Where could they have gone?" Taehyung muttered to himself as he checked the living room once again. A light thud was heard, followed by the pitter-patter of little feet rushing through the halls above. Tae smirked, they wouldn't escape him this time.
Taehyung ran up the stairs as fast as he could yet he still managed to lose them! Letting out a sigh of defeat, the brunette leaned against the wall in dismay. If anything this wasn't a babysitting job, it was just a workout.
The door next to him slowly creaked open, with Jungkook stepping out. "Oh! Kookie-" Jungkook quickly shushed the older teen and ushered him away from the door.
"Shh," Jungkook hushed. "I just got them to sleep." Taehyung smiled and gave his boyfriend a thumbs up. "What about the other's, have you got them yet?" Tae's smile faded almost immediately and he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Weeeell...No. I always miss them by just a second! "
Jungkook sighed with the shake of his head. "These kids are gonna do my head in!"
"I know right! I'm so tired. I'll be honest, I didn't expect to be running around so much. The only baby I planned on sitting on was you."
"I...TAE! You can't say- wait, what's that?" Jungkook noticed a small wrapper on the floor. In fact, there were several. All labeled with a different candy. "No no no! They got into the candy! Do you think it was San?"
CRASH "I guess we're about to find out."
Once again, something broke. A recurring theme that Jungkook wasn't all too fond of. To the absolute shock and horror of two teens - the living room had been utterly destroyed! Toilet paper lined the cushion-less couch, toys were spread across the carpet, now wet from a water gun, and to top the carnage - both Wooyoung and San managed to get peanut butter and candy stuck in their hair!
