We get to the fourth floor and the elevator pings open. We rush out of the elevator when we see a sad Chris talking to a police officer. The police officer walks away and Chris makes eye contact with us. He looks back at a room with a body in with a sheet over the top of it. This was really happening. I put my hand over my mouth in shock as a tear slips out of my eye.
"No." Allison says "No." She repeats with a voice crack and starts walking towards Chris. "No dad! No dad!" She says walking towards him whilst crying. Then takes a breath before carrying on. "If this is some sort of sick training session, you had...." whilst breaking down and I feel my heart break right there at the scene. Allison hardly ever cries so seeing her like this right now is killing me. "You better tell me! You better tell me!" She says pushing his shoulders slightly but he grabs her arms to get her to stop. "No, I'm sorry." He says sadly and I look up at the ceiling as I try to collect myself. I have to be strong for Allisom right now.
I watch as Allison breaks down in his arms and I just couldn't not cry. It was sad enough to watch, but being in this family. Knowing both Allison and her mom so well. Meant it affected me a lot more then just watching it. My heart broke with Allison's as she broke down in Chris's arms.
Chris notices me standing there crying. He opens his other arm for me and pulls me into their hug. "Its us three now." Chris says kissing both of our foreheads.
When we get home Allison heads straight up to her room. I head into the kitchen and make some coffee for Chris.
I take it into him in the living room and hand it to him. "Thank you Clara bear." He says and I chuckle softly at the nickname I haven't heard in a while. "Are you okay?" I ask him and he sighs and takes a sip of bis coffee. "You don't have to worry about me." He says and I sit next to him. "Yes I do. You guys took care of me when my mom died. I'm here to take care of you guys. It won't be as hard for me to get over it then you guys." I say and he smiles at me softly.
"What happened?" I ask him and he sighs and leans back in his seat. "You remember in one of our training sessions, I told you we have some sort of code?" He says and I nod. "If a hunter gets bit they kill themselves, that's what happened." He says and I gasp. "Will you be there for Allison?" He asks and I nod. "Of course I will." I say and he smiles and kisses my forehead.
I head into the kitchen and make Allison some herbal tea before heading up to her room.
I open her door and hear Grandpa talking. "Howling not for mercy, but for their own sweet deaths." He says and I cough to get their attention. "And what do you think your doing?" I ask him and he gives Allison an envelope before getting up and leaving. I put the tea on her desk and get into the bed beside her.
"I don't want to talk." She says and I nod. "I know you don't." I say wrapping my arms around her and lying down. "But you can if you want to. I'm right here for you." I say as she cries in my arms. "Its okay to take time for yourself Ally." I say stroking her hair out of her face.
"Gerard gave me this letter from my mom and said to burn it straight after." Allison says handing me the envelope as we sit up. "Do you want some privacy?" I ask and she nods shyly. "I'm right across the hall." I say and she nods. I get out of her bed and go across the hall.
After about half an hour Allison walks in to my room dressed completely in black. "Get dressed. We've got something to do." She says bitterly then walks out. I sigh and then go into my closet and pick out some black leggins and a black crop top and a black hoodie. If Allison was dressed fully in black that means we're about to do something dangerous.
I head down to the basement after putting my hair in a high pony, where I meet Allison, Chris and Gerard. I walk down the stairs as Chris puts bullets in his gun. Chris takes Allison's phone and starts to read the text.
