We just left Faith's office, and I don't know what the hell to think. I know that after seeing those letters addressed to Grace, there's no fucking way that I am letting Faith out of my sight. According to those letters, she is in danger of being taken too. What kind of sick lunatic would want to abduct two sisters who have never hurt anyone. Faith is so sweet and caring. I cannot wrap my head around someone wanting to harm her or Grace.

I look over at Faith, her head is against the window, and she looks deep in thought. I don't know where her head is at right now, but I feel like she needs time to digest this whole thing. God, I want to protect her from everything that this situation has laid on her shoulders. My hand has not left hers. I squeeze her hand, and she smiles sadly at me.

She moves her head from the window and places it on my shoulder. I release her hand and wrap my arm around her shoulder. I pull her close to me and drive with one hand.

I break the silence, "I think that it would be best to stay in my office apartment. The security in my building is top of the line."

"Whatever you think is best." She replies with sadness.

My fucking heart is breaking as I watch Faith withdraw.

I look over at her, "Baby, don't give up on Grace. If she is anything like you, she is fighting like hell to get back to you."

"I know that you are right, but it is so hard not knowing who the hell is behind all of this and why?" She says quietly.

"I know, Babe, but I like this detective. I believe that he is going to get whoever is behind this." I kiss the top of her head as I pull into my office building.

"What am I going to do for clothes? I have nothing!" She expresses her concerns to me.

I attempt to relieve her fears, "Don't you worry, I already texted Cindy to stop by your house to meet an officer that would escort her to your room to get everything you need."

She pulls her head off of my shoulder, "You did what?"

"I asked Cindy to get your things from your house," I say hesitantly.

"Thank you. That was sweet. Please remind me to thank Cindy." She says before she puts her head back onto my shoulder.

I breathe a sigh of relief, "Are you hungry? Do you want to call for delivery? Or I can call and have my housekeeper come to make us something?"

"You know that I can cook, right?" She asks. "Do you have groceries?"

"I did not know that you cook, but I suggested my housekeeper cook so that you did not have to." I place my fingers under her chin and lift her face so that I can look into her beautiful eyes, "Is it bad that I have no idea if I have groceries in my own home?"

She smiles at me, and it reaches her eyes. It is the Faith that I want back, need back, and I plan on doing whatever I can to get her back.

"I am not hungry, but I know that I need to eat something, and I find cooking therapeutic. Let me see what you have, and we will go from there. Okay?" She questions me.

"Okay." I release her and get out of my car. I love how she waits for me to open her door. I reach out my hand to her. She takes it and gets out. We make our way inside my building. I nod my greeting to the receptionist.

"Hello." Faith greets my receptionist with a smile.

"Good Afternoon, welcome to Easton Real Estate." She replies cheerily.

"Thank you." Faith replies.

We head to the elevator, and Faith hits the third-floor button.

I grin, "You remember my floor."
