laxus' little sister

ch 1

*a bit of backstory *

As a child, my body was always weaker than others and that stopped me from having a normal childhood before my father implanted a dragon slayer lacrima into my body as he did for my older brother, my brother is the lightning dragon slayer because like me my brother was also weaker, I'm no lightning user, my name is Lily Dreyar and I am the water dragon slayer. But our greedy a**hole of a father wanted strong children for some unknown reason, and that's one reason I never found out.

But during my childhood, my father sold me to a man to help build a tower. As soon as I got to the tower, I was thrown into a cell with some other kids, one had a snake wrapped around his arm. Another had black hair with a white plate and he looked like he couldn't sleep properly. A small girl with white hair came up to me curiously asking for my name. I told her my name and how I got there, but all I wanted to do was see my big brother again.

*flashback *

The boy with the snake looked curious, "sorry if I'm interrupting, but who's Laxus?" "How do you know my older brother?!" I asked shocked, "Don't freak out, but I... I can hear people's thoughts" "(GASP) You can do what?! That's so cool!!" I said with stars in my eyes "What's your name?" he asked while holding out his hand "I... I'm Lily, Lily Dreyar" I said as I shook his hand as a greeting "I'm Erik and this is Cubellios She's my friend," he said as the small purple snake wrapped its body around my small arm and nudged me "aw your adowable" I said in a baby voice while stroking her scales "I had a baby wolf at home but it seems my father doesn't accept me as family enough to let me be at home, her name was snowflake" I looked down as memories of me, snowflake and Nii-chan playing in the woods near our house flooded my mind.

*A couple of months full of torture later*

"you still miss your brother don't you?" he looked into my eyes with sorrow "Yeah, but life can't always go your way" I replied with a sad smile but as soon as I said that I heard what sounded like an electric bomb go off, the cage doors broke and everyone is trying to leave. Erik grabbed my arm and started running towards the exit, "WHERE IS SHE?!?! WHERE IS MY SISTER?!?!" I had stopped running and looked behind me, 'Nii-chan?' "C'mon lil we gotta go" "B-but th-that sounded like Nii-chan" "LILY COME ON WE GOTTA GO NOW IF WE WANNA LEAVE HERE" he yelled over the screams of people leaving and running "I..... I'm sorry" I whispered while turning around and heading towards the voice. I come to a giant doorway, "Onii-san?" I asked with tears in my eyes, "lily, is that you?" I nodded and ran up to him and hugged him while he bent down to my level and wrapped his arms around me "Nii-chan I knew you would come for me" "I'm so glad you're okay. Let's go home, yeah?"

I was shocked "B-but dad said he..................he didn't want me anymore" I said with tears in my eyes "I know and because of that Gramps said that we will be staying with him until I can get a house for us" he said while picking me up in his arms and broke the wall so we could get out "we're staying with grandpa at the guild? What about snowflake?" I ask worriedly for my wolf cub as he jumps down and lands on the ground "Yeah, snowflake is fine she's at the guild waiting for you as we speak and I'll see what I can do about Gramps letting you come with me on some jobs" "thank you Nii-chan I yawned "it's OK lily just get some sleep and when you wake up we'll be with gramps" he got onto the last boat "night night" he nodded as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*Laxus' POV*

"Who are you and how do you know lily-chan?" I see a kid in front of me looking confused, "the name's Laxus and she's my little sister. How do you know her?" I ask defensively "She's my friend" the girl said confidently "Well at least give me your name" She nodded "My name is Erza Scarlet" The rest of the boat ride was silent. When we got to land I looked at the redhead "Don't you have somewhere to go?" she looked down and shook her head "No that tower is all I can remember" She looked lost while starting to walk away "Do you have magic?" she nodded while looking down at the floor "well if you want to strengthen your magic to help protect others then you can come with us to our guild" she looked happy but then turned away "I will just be a bother to everyone there" she mumbled before I sigh and start walking away "well it's your choice" after a minute I hear her yell "please wait up I wanna come with you" I smile at the redhead "well let's get going"
