*in the guild hall*

"miss Dreyar! Miss Dreyar! Urgent message from the council!" a messenger bird flew into the guild hall. It dropped the letter into my hand "Thank you" I smiled as it flew away "from the magic council? What's this about?" I muttered under my breath. I opened the envelope and my eyes focused on the big bold letters on the front of the letter 'TOP SECRET! KEEP PRIVATE!!'

Dear miss Dreyar

We hope this letter finds you well, 

This letter was sent to discuss a private matter between you and one of the council's prisoners. It has come to our attention that prisoner 100977 is a person of great importance to you as it has come to our attention that this prisoner is your other half or your 'soulmate' in laments terms.

We would like to come to an agreement over what to do with this certain prisoner, we do not know if he is safe to be free but we'd rather not kill an innocent wizard by preventing contact with their other half. 

Please notify your guild master that we would like to have a council meeting next week so that we can discuss a potential rehabilitation plan for said prisoner.

"Gramps! Gramps! I got a letter!" I exclaimed, bolting towards Gramps' office. "From whom, my dear?" he asked as I walked into the office, closed the door and sat on the chair "It's from the magic council, they want to schedule a meeting with you" I smiled as I put the letter onto gramps' desk. "Next week eh? And about the exact reason we were going to discuss, it's like they hear everything" Gramps mumbled under his breath. "So, what do you think gramps? Do you think we can make an agreement about 'him'?" I asked excitedly as Gramps gave a small smile "Perhaps my child, perhaps".

*Time Skip (1 day before the meeting)*

"Are you sure about this, gramps? He's a criminal. What if he tries something or worse, what if he hurts her?" Laxus questioned Gramps as they sat in his office. "Calm down boy! The letter is only a summons to the meeting, we don't know what that stupid council is thinking" Gramps murmured as he got ready to leave for the meeting, "does she have to attend as well?" "no she doesn't but I will send word of what happens before I get back" "Right, stay safe gramps," Laxus said before walking out of his office. master Makarov opened his office door and walked out onto the balcony, "Listen up brats!"  he yelled while standing on the railing "I am going away for a council meeting! I don't want anyone causing trouble, You got that Natsu!!" he yelled before jumping off the railing and walking down the stairs "Hey! I'm not that bad" Natsu yelled through the crowd as Master Makarov made his way to the door. 

*Lily's POV*

"Can I walk you to the station, Gramps?" I asked as Gramps got to the door "That would be lovely sweetheart" he smiled at me and we made the journey to the station "Are you sure I shouldn't be coming with you?" "It's fine child, I asked Mira to hold onto a special job for you" he winked at me "They're secret so keep it between us" he put his finger to his lips and smiled "On it gramps" I smiled back as he boarded the train and found a booth "have a safe trip" I called to him "I will, cya when I get back" he waved as the train left the station. "right, time to go back to the guild" I said to myself as I made my way back to the guild "I'm back!" I yelled as I threw the doors open, to my surprise the guild hadn't been trashed yet probably thanks to Nii-chan and Mira, snowflake jumped up at me, annoyed that I left without her "I know, I'm sorry girl" I ran my fingers through her fur and walked towards the bar "She started whining when she realised you had left without her," Mira said as I sat on a bar stool "yeah, the last time I left her I wasn't allowed to come back," I said as she nudged my arm to keep stroking her. 

"Gramps says you have some secret missions for me" I whispered leaning towards her, her face lit up "Yup I do" She pulled out a few job requests and gave them to me, "go through them and pick one to start with" she said as I went through the pile "hey these aren't real job requests," I said as she smiled "no but master wanted you specifically to do them" she replied with her usual bright smile and I sighed "fine, I'll be back after doing all these" I said picking them up and walking home, snowflake by my side as I put the pile into a bag "can you believe this, girl? he wants me to do chores" I said annoyed and she just huffed in response, we made our way back home and I looked over the papers again 'Go house hunting, big enough for 4 ;) p.s. Don't worry about the price' "Eh? he wants me to move out, big enough for 4?" I looked over it again before sighing in defeat "Fine, snow c'mon, we're going back out" I said as she stood up and walked back to the door.
